A couple of Months ago

    The woods held secrets that weren't ready to be revealed. The morning breeze flew past and tickled Fetch's ears. He ignored it and kept walking wanting to go home. The large trees followed Sandy's group but everyone seemed to ignore the marvelous landscapes. "Isn't it Kiki's team's turn to collect food this time? Ugh." Fetch groaned once more. He turned around complaining to Sandy. "Fetch for the last time, stop complaining!" Sandy shoved Fetch.

     "Be nice Sandy. Now Kiki told me there should be a berry bush somewhere around here." Maddie said, trying to be helpful. "Fetch is right, can we just go back to the shed and let Kiki and her team deal with this." Duke responded. Fetch nodded aggressively."Wow you're on Fetch's side. I'm a pig." Cookie said with a goofy smile. "Why is he so dumb" Sandy whispered to herself "Maddie are we getting any closer?". "Yup, here we are. There are the berry bushes Duke give me the baskets." Maddie replied. "Wait, it was my job to bring the baskets" Duke questioned. "DUKE!" everyone yelling at Duke. "Wow Duke. You have one job. ONE JOB!" Sandy yelled. "I'll walkie Tabor," Fetch said. Fetch held up the walkie talkie and said "Tabor, we have a situation" Tabor immediately responded. Tabor rolled her eyes on the other side of the walkie talkie as she had expected something to go wrong. "Don't even. Kiki knew something would go wrong so she collected the berries this morning." Tabor said into the walkie talkie. Duke rolled his eyes angrily "Wow we've just been randomly out here walking for hours for no reason. Thank you Tabor." Duke said sarcastically, snatching the walkie talkie from Fetch. "Whatever, we'll be there with the golf cart to pick you up." said Tabor from the walkie talkie. Sandy's team stopped. "WE HAVE A GOLF CART? And you guys made us walk??" Sandy yelled into the walkie talkie. "I mean Kiki found it this morning. I've been trying to fix it up. "Wait. You randomly found a golf cart this morning and didn't tell us?" said Maddie into to walkie talkie politely. "I mean whenever we find something cool you guys wreck it before I can even try to fix it. And, now it's in perfect working condition! Since, I had my peace and quiet to fix it without distractions." Tabor said happily. "I'm a fish pig we!" Cookie screamed. "Great. So we walked for what like 4 miles so that we wouldn't be a "distraction" and to find berries we already have?!" Duke yelled angrily into the walkie talkie. "Now that I think about it, it might have been kinda mean. Whatever all's well that ends well. Me and Kiki are on our way!" Tabor replied. "Duke come one, arguing isnt gonna do anything lets just wait for the stupid golf cart to come pick us up." Sandy said, taking the walkie talkie. Everyone looked around waiting for a golf cart. Suddenly an earth shattering scream was heard pinned down on everyone's ears. "What was that?" Fetch said another breeze tickled his ear. Sandy slowly chased the screams, the others followed. The morning breeze smelled dull and smokey.

     To their surprise they found the golf cart had exploded and only fiery ash could be seen. The one small flame started to grow immediately Fetch and Kiki tried to stop it. The fire grew out of control, swallowing up the dry leaves in the autumn breeze. It crowded them creating a weird oval. They were trapped in a ring of fire. Kiki stepped back, falling face forward into the fire. She let out a horrifying scream that could probably have been heard from miles away. Fetch immediately rushes to help Kiki but his eyes watered only able to see smoke and ash. He tried to make his way towards the screams of pain but felt himself breathing smoke he froze parlyzed in fear to see Kiki yelling for help. He tried to respond but he couldn't say a word. He started to feel dizzy and his eyes slowly closed falling back onto the ground. "I CAN'T SEE!!" Kiki yelled. Tabor quickly ran over to Kiki hurdling over the rocks and sticks in her way. She bent down next to Kiki trying to help her away from the fire while Tauri and Tundra got the fire to slowly die down. Tabor spoke "Kiki. Exposure to high-intensity light, in this case fire, may cause blindness. Kiki screamed once again. Duke ignored her and ran over to Fetch who laid lifeless on the ground. "Forget about Kiki! Fetch isn't waking up!" Duke yelled. Sandy's team surrounded Fetch trying to get him to wake up. Footsteps were heard in the distance Girl-boy had come to the rescue. "Guys! What happened? '' Girl-boy worried looking at everyone worried. The ring of fire had completely died down. Girl-boy saw Fetch shocked, ignoring Kiki and tending to the opposite team's needs. He picked up Fetch and helped carry him back to the shed not asking any questions. While Tabor followed, helping Kiki along the way. "Hey at least the Golfy the cart is fine. Just a little burnt." Cookie giggles. Everybody rolled their eyes, ignoring. "Are Kiki and Fetch ok?" Duke asked. "Kiki can't see and Fetch won't wake up but, no Duke there fine." Tauri said sarcastically. "Geez chill man. I was just asking" Duke answered. "GUYS! Stop it. Why do you and Tauri always argue? Why is the cookie always being annoying! Why is Fetch always complaining and why is Kiki always being bossy." Sandy whispered under her breath. "We can hear you," Tundra responded. "Why does everyone hate me?" Everyone turned around to stare at Tundra. "Why are you such a pick-me girl!" Duke and Tauri yelled. Tauri looked at him and blushed then quickly turned around. "Guys, let's be nice. Arguing won't help us get home faster." Maddie smiled.A few hours later The two groups walked together trying to care for the two injured individuals, Fetch and Kiki. They had walked for miles and had gotten lost on the way back to the shed. Finally, they reached the small abandoned rusted shed which they called home. "We're finally here. Oh my god!" Sandy yelled. Tauri helped Tabor sit Kiki down in a chair. "Ok Kiki, how many fingers am I holding up?" Tabor asked, holding up 4 fingers. "16? I don't know." Kiki responded angrily "I can't see!" She opened her eyes wide but they were pure white. Tabor jumped back in fear "Umm somethings wrong with Kiki" she whispered loudly. "What about Fetch?" Duke asked worriedly, trying to talk to Fetch but getting no response back. Tauri looked at Duke rolling her eyes "Um technically Fetch is your problem. So yea." Tauri said, trying to tend back at Kiki. "Who do you think you are? Trying to tend to your Queen Kiki's problems. What is Fetch just not human compared to Kiki?" Duke answered angrily, ready to start a fight. Sandy stepped in backing up Duke "Our problem? You guys are the ones who started the ring of fire with your whole golf cart explosion!" Sandy continued yelling "I mean how does that even happen!?" "The golf explosion wasn't our team's fault!" Tundra stepped in replying to Sandy and Duke. "The flying fish pig says this is your fault!" Cookie screamed back at Tauri. "Yea!" Yelled Duke. "No! Maybe if you had done your job this wouldn't have happened." Tauri responded. "What are you talking about? A golf cart exploding wasn't our fault. In Fact this is all your fault for causing the fire!" Sandy responded. The two groups got into a massive argument and anger boiled in everyone's hearts. Maddie tried to stop the madness, no pun intended, but no one seemed to listen to her. Fetch looked around panicked and confused while Kiki rubbed her eyes continuously trying to see something.
