The night is tranquil. The full moon shone the sky. Some guards patrolled the palace with paper lantern on their hands. The hustle bustle in the day was contrary with the peaceful night.

A figure stood beside a large bed. The chamber is dark with the moon glows as the only source of light. The room is huge, with expensive ornamental. A person was sleeping peacefully on the red-silk bed cover.

A glistening light reflected from something on the figure's hand.

Silently, the intruder rise the hand and with fast movement aimed the sword to the heart of the sleeping person.

Cling.

The two swords met before the sleeping man.

The figure looked shocked seeing the one on the bed arose.

Ck!

Understanding the situation, the figure tried to escape. Unfortunately, he was halted to see the real King standing in front of the door.

The figure felt a cold metal on his neck.

"Long time no see, Father."

The periodically beep sound filled the room. The white colored walls and the strong smelt of the floor cleaner detergent created a dread feeling.

A youth standing beside a single bed. His hand holding the bed-ridden teenager. IV was secured on his hand. His head was bandaged.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't dragged you into this hell."

"It's not your fault, Al."

"You are awake?" Alden rise his head. His eyes were red and swollen.

"Do you remember me?" Alden asked cautiously.

Rei laughed, but then his head start hurting.

"Ouw ouw my head!"

"Are you okay? I'll get the nurse. Please wait."

Just as Alden was about to walk, a hand pulled his wrist.

"Please stay."

Alden turned his head and stared at Rei.

Realizing what he have done, Rei unconsciously released Rei's hand.

"I'm sorry, it just..."

"That mad old man! Right, when I saw him again, I'll sure finished him!"

Rei diverted talks. A red blush apparent on his white face.

However, when he hold up his fist, it bumped with the head bed.

"Ouw ouw." He pulled his hand and grimaced.

"Don't act harsh" Alden hurriedly approached Rei and took his bumped hand.

"Is it hurt?" He asked with concerned eyes.

"Stay with me."

They locked their eyes. Feeling something is wrong with his wording, he tried to correct his statement.

"No.. no.. what I mean is you should move out of that damned place and live in my house. I mean, my family house."

Alden shook his head.

"But I don't want to burden you and your family. You are all already too nice to me."

"You are still a minor. We just in our second grade of junior highs. You cannot stay in that house by yourself."

"He is right." A female sound heard from the door.

"Mother!" Rei exclaimed with happy face.

"You acted harsh again?" His mother approached Rei. His father entered not long after.

"I just leave you for two days, and you already end up in hospital? What a filial son!"

His mother nagged Rei as soon as he stood beside the bed.

"Hello Al. How are you? Why you looked skinnier from the last time we met?"

In contrast, his mother greeted Alden warmly. She even hugged him!

"Mom, your biological son is here!" Rei's complaint unheard.

While the mother busied talking with Rei, his father pat his shoulder.

"You are doing great, there."

"I know, Dad." a smile bloom on his face.

"And young man, whenever you are agree, we'll prepare the documents so that you can stay in our house." The father directed his speech to Alden.

Alden showed his awkward smile. A grateful eyes stared at the small family in front of him.

"Thank you.."
