Matt looked at the cat and whined. The cat meowed as Matt sniffed the cat's fur. "That's Mallow", said Alex, "She's pretty old but still kicking." I put my hand out and she ran her head alongside it. "Is it alright if I let Matt off his leash? He won't chase Mallow.", I said looking at Alex. He nodded his head; I unclipped the leash from Matt's collar. I put the leash into my pocket. Matt licked Alex's hand and sat down beside him. I stood up and scooted my shoes out of the way. Alex invited me into the kitchen. He asked if I wanted anything, and I politely declined. "Wanna come upstairs? Show you, my room?", Alex offered. I nodded my head, and we began walking upstairs. He walked down the hallway and opened the second door on the right. I stepped into his room and was decently surprised. Alex seemed like someone to keep his room tidy. His room was a little messy, you aren't able to tell that from facetime though. He had a small selection of books in a stack. He had a carpet in the middle of his room, a light brown one. It matched just right.
We were laying on the floor watching a movie on his laptop. I suddenly remembered school. "Wait, why aren't you at school?", I said out of the blue. Alex just snickered and said that he didn't want to go. "I have to pick up my sister soon though, if you want to come?" I said sure and we continued watching the end of the movie. An alarm on his phone went off about 15 minutes later. "Well, that's the alarm. Ready to meet my sister in person?", Alex said, standing up. We walk downstairs to find Matt asleep by the tv. Alex suggested taking Matt and I just nodded my head. It's his car, so I don't mind. I click my tongue and Matt lifts his head. He gets up and walks over. I get his leash out of my pocket and attach it to his collar. We get our shoes on and we load into Alex's car.
