The next day, everyone split into groups to attempt to kill Koro-sensei. All attempts failed, like usual.

Red-eye-nii-san still failed? Sakuragi was annoyed. When Red-eye texted her to tell her he let slip part of her name, she yelled at him for a full hour. I’m going to have to be even more careful with both Karasuma and Karma keeping an eye on me.

“What do you think, Sakuragi-chan? Should we poison the mochi dumplings for sensei?” Sakuragi looked up at Karma, who smirked at her. Sakuragi glared at him then wrinkled her nose.

“No. It’s a sacrilege to mochi dumplings.” Kayano linked her arm through Sakuragi’s with a laugh. “I agree!”

Chatting, the group walked into an alley they planned to use for assassination.

Suddenly, they heard a deep voice say, “It’s great for an ambush!” Sakuragi found herself face to face with the high schoolers from the train.

They captured the girls and beat up the boys. When Sakuragi came to, she found herself tied to Kanzaki and Kayano. One of the high schoolers walked up to them. He held up his phone.

“This you?” Kanzaki gasped. Sakuragi studied the picture. It was a blond Kanzaki with modern teenage clothes at the arcade.

“Had plans to kidnap you, but lost track of you.” He leered. “Who knew you were part of the faaancy Kunugigaoka?” He knelt down in front of them. 

“The other two aren’t bad-looking either.” He smirked at Sakuragi. She spit in his face.He slapped her. Sakuragi winced, trying not to worsen the situation. The older boy got up and walked away.

“Kanzaki. Kayano.” Sakuragi murmured. The two nodded almost imperceptibly. “I have a pocketknife, when I say ‘go’ stand up and run.”

“What about you?!” Kayano hissed. Sakuragi smiled at her. “I’ll take care of these guys.”

Sakuragi managed to get her pocketknife and started sawing at the ropes. 

Just then, her classmates came in and started fighting the high schoolers. Just as they were about to be overwhelmed, Koro-sensei saved everyone. Quickly, Sakuragi freed Kayano, Kanzaki, and herself. She slipped her knife into her sleeve before Karma could see it.

Back at the hotel, everyone was packing up and getting ready to the next day. Exhausted, Sakuragi quickly shot a text to Red-eye I’m giving u a bad review on findanassassin.com then fell asleep.

Once the class arrived at home, Karasuma went to his office in the Ministry building.

He went to a shelf marked Assassins. A chill went down Karasuma’s spine. He ignored the feeling and went down the list.
