The morning sun had risen, and an alarm went off.
It startled the monster from a deep slumber.
He was up and ready to fight against any intruders.
only to find his alarm clock yelling at him.
He rushed to get ready and put on the same hoodie he had last night.
He tiptoed down the stairs, hoping not to wake anyone up.
He peeked at the time on the oven, and it was very early.
He soon grabbed his keys, and they did a little jiggle.
He nearly woke up some guy who had a beer in hand.
It seems that he was up all night watching TV.
There's nothing to worry about, and that's good.
He closed the door behind him and started walking down the streets.
A school bell rang in the distance.
He was finally here, yet it was at least an hour's walk.
The ringing noise was loud when he sat in his seat.
Hey, it's the quiet kid.
He is usually the first to get here.
A whisper in the wind mocked him.
Another joked back that he might be up to something.
Talk like this was normal to Curtis, and he was amused.
He was proud and almost smiled.
Ok, class.
The teacher had made enough noise and clapped her hands.
as if they were in grade 1 and not high school.
We have a new student; let us introduce him.
She let the boy into the classroom.
Hello, my name is Witt, and I am from the UK.
I just moved here because my dad's new job is here.
He seemed to stutter and speak nervously.
A better education was promised to me by my parents.
It's nice to meet you all.
Curtis noticed that he scanned the room with his eyes.
His eyes landed on him for a moment.
He looked concerned and scared.
Curtis looks tall and menacing.
The boy sat down next to him, and Curtis was surprised.
After all, he had to think, "Why?" Would anyone be so dumb? Why be stupid enough to sit beside him?
Then, again, he was new, so he did not care. He chooses to ignore him and let him be.
The class had ended after a few long hours, and he was ready to restart the chaos when he arrived.
He got pulled by the sleeve by the newbie and asked if he could get a school tour.
The teacher nodded and gave Curtis a "you must do it and be kind" look.
He wanted to tell him to get lost, but unfortunately, he had to suck it up.
He showed him around the school gym, library, lunch room, and almost everything else.
To get to know him better, the boy began asking questions about him.
Curtis did not like that too much, and he grumbled something.
So why do people seem to hate you and give you death glares? You seem like a nice person.
Okay, that was unnecessary and made Curtis mad.
That was the last straw for him.
