As soon as Tifara entered Mrs. Kane's classroom, she looked around and noticed that each student sat at the black rectangle tables in pairs. Looking up at the ceiling, she noticed the green and blue Adaman globe and other colorful planets within the galaxy that Adama resided in hung around there. Oh, so Mrs. Kane's a science teacher, huh? Tifara thought, That's pretty cool.
Her classmates stopped what they were doing and looked at her. The majority of the students just emotionlessly stared at her, and a portion of boys gazed at her curvy body while some girls glared at her. Mrs. Kane's class chattered and gossiped about Tifara of her "sexual harassment" incident. Mrs. Kane sighed and glared at Tifara when she first saw Tifara. Tifara looked down below her and held onto her necklace as she tightly held onto her white paper. Oh, please end this suffering already, Elohim! Tifara sadly thought, Please! Please!
The paper she held onto was her excuse slip since she spent ten minutes being scolded by the principal of the incident, which was almost half of her first homeroom period. Besides, Mrs. Kane already marked her absent. Tifara's school district never allowed their students to be sent home for their bad behaviors, in order to prevent them from doing their make-up work.
"Oh, I'm guessing you must be Tifara, is that right?" Mrs. Kane asked. Her honey-colored, curly hair, big glasses and pale skin sighed at Tifara.
"Yep, that's right, Mrs. Kane," Tifara responded, walking towards her homeroom teacher, handing her excuse slip to her teacher.
Mrs. Kane sighed as soon as she examined Tifara's excuse slip. "Ugh, this year's going to be my worst nightmare, isn't it?"
Tifara gave her homeroom teacher her annoyed look. Oh, great, she thought, I can't believe she thinks I caused that incident on purpose too, huh? Well, this is going to be one hell of an annoyin' ass year. She looked up at the ceiling. Oh, Lord, she thought, Please help me.
Once Mrs. Kane unmarked Tifara's absence, she looked around and saw an unseated area near a redheaded boy. He appeared to be either eleven or twelve years old.
"You sit next to David over there, got it?" Mrs. Kane said, pointing her finger at David. "That's going to be your assigned seat from now on."
Tifara looked at what Mrs. Kane pointed her finger at. "Yes, ma'am."
"Good," Mrs. Kane said, handing Tifara a piece of paper. "Here…this is your first assignment. You have five minutes to complete it, because I'll be calling you up her for you to introduce yourself to the class."
Tifara looked over her first assignment. "Got it."
"Good, now sit down," Mrs. Kane demanded.
"Yes, ma'am," Tifara said as she walked up to her assigned seat.
Once she sat in her seat and began her assignment, David began to look at her face. When Tifara finished her assignment in less than three minutes, she turned to David and smiled. "Hi, David."
David quickly turned the other way without responding to her. She then glared at him, tapping onto his shoulder three times.
"Hey, I'm talking to you!" Tifara snapped, "It's rude to ignore someone like that, y'know!"
"I don't talk to girls who sexually harass people and lies about it!" David roared, twisting his body around. "So don't even bother touchin' me nor talkin' to me, okay?"
Tifara growled at David. Great, first my homeroom teacher thinks I caused the sexual harassment incident, and David does too?! What a bunch of bitches! she thought, This is definitely gonna be the worst school year in my life, that's for sure!
"Tifara!" Mrs. Kane snapped. "In just what do you think you're doing?! You're not sexually harassing David too now, are you?!"
"No, not at all, Mrs. Kane," Tifara responded while the rest of the students watched Tifara and David, gasping at the situation. "I was trying to get to know him, that was all."
"Was that true, David?" Mrs. Kane asked.
"Well, she didn't sexually harass me," David responded.
Tifara sighed out of relief. Well, I'll have to hand it to David, she happily thought, Even though he was bein' a total asshole, at least he was tellin' the truth about me not sexually harassin' him though. I'll give it that.
"But she was just tryin' to annoy me," David continued.
Tifara sucked her teeth at David. Nuh! she thought, widening her eyes open with her mouth open when she heard what David said to Mrs. Kane. She then glared at him. Oh, wow! Just when I just gave him credit for tellin' the truth at first. He now just said shit like that, like for real?! she angrily thought, Wow, David! Thanks a lot!
Mrs. Kane angrily turned to Tifara. "Now Tifara, you leave David alone this instant, young lady, do you hear me?!"
"Ah!" Tifara cried. "But I didn't do anything wrong, Mrs. Kane!"
"Don't you ever lie to me!" Mrs. Kane roared. "Either you do as you're told, or you'll get an office referral. Is that clear?!"
"Yes, ma'am," Tifara responded after realizing that she won't win trying to prove her innocence.
"Good," Mrs. Kane said, returning her attention to her computer screen.
Tifara glared at David even more while he ignored her. Oh, Elohim, she thought, looking up at the ceiling, Please help me control my anger that leads to vengeance. Because I already hate David for what he'd done to me, please forgive him as I've forgave him for it. In Yeshua's name, Amen.
When the five minutes were over, Mrs. Kane turned to Tifara. "Tifara. You're up! Time to introduce yourself to the class."
"Yes, ma'am. I'm coming," Tifara responded, getting up from her seat and walked toward the white board with some red and green writing on it near Mrs. Kane's desk. The class began to chatter with one another; some boys stared at Tifara's curvy body with their reddened cheeks and various girls gossiped behind Tifara's back. David just glared at Tifara, nearly closing his eyes without even saying a word. Ah, this is so annoyin'! Tifara thought, annoyedly moving her eyes to the left. Why can't it stop, like, for real?! When she made it halfway towards it, she turned around and held her paper up to her face.
"Quiet now, quiet, quiet! A student's about to give her speech," Mrs. Kane demanded.
Once the entire class was silent and paid attention to Tifara, Mrs. Kane turned her attention to her. "Alright, go ahead, Tifara. You may begin."
"Thank you, Mrs. Kane. I will," Tifara said as she only looked down at the paper instead of her audience. "Hello, everyone. My name is Tifara. I am currently thirteen years old and I was born on December 8th of Year Seven Jehoiakim, right here in Maritima, Mekura. My parents are both workers. I have a little sister and her name is Yulogia. She's currently eleven years old and is in Year Dalet of Elementary School.
"I love to spread the Gospel with my friends. As you can see, I am already Elohim's minister and will continue to do so. His character inspires me to spread the Gospel and get to know Him and His Son..."
The class chuckled when they heard about her ministry work, chattering with one another, especially the girls. Everyone except David. For some reason, he was silent and just confusedly glared at Tifara.
"Tifara as the Lord's minister?" One girl asked her classmates. "She couldn't possibly do that. Elohim would never accept a whore like her. She'll definitely burn in Gehenna for being a slut."
"I know, right?" Another girl asked her classmates.
She annoyedly glared at her classmates. Ugh! She angrily thought, These people think they know Elohim, just because they read certain Bible verses and have their Biblical discussion daily and spend Biblical family time with Him every Saturday! They're so damn arrogant! Then she sighed and sadly looked at her classmates. David raised his eyebrow while he watched her look up at the ceiling. Dear Lord, she thought, Please forgive them for what they've done to me, because I forgive them for what they've done. Please be patient with them as You have done before. In Yeshua's name, Amen.
"That's enough now, class!" Mrs. Kane roared. "That's quite enough!"
As soon as the entire class quieted down, Mrs. Kane turned to Tifara. "Now you may continue, Tifara."
"Thank you, Mrs. Kane," Tifara said, sighing out of relief as she turned back to her paper. "I also love reading the Bible and having a personal relationship with Elohim and His Son Yeshua. My favorite chapter is 1 Samuel 16, because I feel that chapter not only demonstrates Elohim doesn't judge people based on physical appearance but instead judges people based on their hearts. It also demonstrates He judges wisely-the exact opposite of man.
"I'm a member of a cooking club at school, because I love to cook and provide meals to everyone, especially for my ministry work. I help provide food for the poor and downtrodden every weekend. And finally, I'm planning on getting my degree in Theology after Secondary School to better perform my ministry work."
"Well then, Tifara. That was an…interesting introduction if you ask me. Looks like we'll be giving you an applause," Mrs. Kane said, turning to her students, getting ready to give Tifara an applause. "Everyone, give Tifara a round of applause, please."
Everyone obeyed Mrs. Kane and immediately clapped for Tifara, chattering with one another, while she returned to her assigned seat. She tightly held onto her necklace, as some of the boys ogled at her and some of the girls laughed at her, gossiping about her. Oh, Lord. Please let it end already, she thought, sitting down in her seat. David continuously glared at her when he saw her just laid her head on her desk and placed her hand near her face.
Then he took out his blank piece of paper from his binder and began to draw. He drew for the remaining five minutes. Once he finished his beautifully detailed drawing of a human skull, a shadow covered him and the drawing behind him as soon as the bell rang.
"Whoa! That's a pretty good drawing you got there!" A girl's voice echoed.
"Huh?!" He cried, quickly turning around to frighteningly see Tifara spotted his drawing. "Nuh!"
"Alright now. Class is dismissed," Mrs. Kane's voice said as the students began to exit the classroom for their first period class.
David quickly placed his drawing in his binder, grabbed it and stood up from his seat, angrily walking away from Tifara. "Hey, get the hell away from me, you slut!"
Tifara glared at David, nearly closing her eyes, crossing her arms. "Um, I was just complimenting your drawing. Gosh!"
Mrs. Kane sighed when she glared at Tifara, asking herself, "Does this girl always cause trouble?!"
Ooooh! Why do I care?! she angrily thought, Just screw that bitch David, Tifara! He's just not worth your time anyway, girlfriend! Seeing her friends near Mrs. Kane's classroom door, she smiled at them and thought, Oh, give praise to Elohim for sending my friends here to protect me! She looked up at the ceiling with a smile. Thank You, Elohim for everything. She exited the classroom to meet up with her friends as they began to walk her to her first period class.
