Sam-
I woke up a little later and slowly sat up in bed. When was the last time I slept so well? I tried to remember but gave up and slid out from under the covers. I carefully stepped off the bed and walked to the large mirror hanging on the wall. I scrunched up my nose and stared at my reflection. When was the last time I had a bath? I sniffed my arm and instantly regretted it. I need a shower. Now. I looked around the room and found a door that I knew didn't lead outside the room. Here, maybe? I opened the door and poked my head in. The sight of a huge bath room left me shocked. A luxurious bathroom was in front of me complete with double sinks, an inset bath, and a separate glass shown. I thought for a second before turning the bath on and letting the water run over my fingers before hopping in. A sigh escaped my mouth as I sunk into the bath and blew a few bubbles. this is nice.
I slowly pulled myself out of the bath and pulled the drain. I raised my arms above my head and stretched before stepping outside. I don't have any clean clothes. I walked over to the closet and slid open the doors. Grabbing the smallest set of clothes I could find, I slid off my bath towel and dressed myself. I walked over to the mirror again and smiled. I grabbed a few hair pins I had found earlier and pinned my frizzy blonde hair out of my eyes. Looking in the mirror again my icey blue eyes started back at me. I put my hands on my hips, satisfied with my work and took a cautious step outside my room.
“There you are!” A booming voice startled me and I turned to look at the person talking. Corey stared back at me. A smile made its way onto my lips. Maybe I really can't stay here.
“Hi Corey” Corey smiled at me and grabbed my hand.
“Mind if I take you around the pack house?” I shook my head and he grinned. “We'll start with Zero and I’s office then.” He opened the door next to him and revealed a huge office with bookcases covering most of the walls. Sunlight peeked through the hidden windows and illuminated the red carpet. Zero sat behind a desk grumbling at paper work with a scowl on his face. I giggled and he lifted his head, lips instantly spreading into a wide smile when he saw me.
“Sam! How are you, do you need any more rest?” I shook my head but he still looked worried. “You sure looked like death when we found you.” He stood up and walked around his desk gently laying his hand on my forehead. I beamed at him.
“I'm alright. Sorry for scaring you earlier” He smiled back at me and patted my head.
“It's alright, are you guys taking a tour of the pack house?” Corey answered before I could.
“We are, you wanna come?” Zero grimaced.
“I would love to but I have way too much work.” he gave me a shy smile, “see you later?” I nodded and with that we continued our tour.
