The eagerness to meet the one he missed, forced him to come to this crowd today, Jay was terrified not finding that person at that reunion. After a little questioning, it came to know that she never used to go to any gathering. When there was no option left, he had to seek his help to pacify his heart’s mayhem of fear, which irritated him a lot. From Kareena. Muskaan's best friend
"How's Muskan?"
Kareena started imagining about this moment from the second she saw him in today's reunion. But when in reality he asked this question, her blood boiled. In anger she answered, "Alive".
"Is this a way to talk to someone, Kareena? Jai, she is fine, I don't know much but I have heard that she is working in a good company for a top position." Urvi answered Jai's question instead of Kareena. She was standing next to them and listening to their conversation.
“Thank you …?”
“It’s Urvi.”
“Thankyou Urvi. I’ll repay this favor. Just let me know if I can ever help you. You too Kareena. See you later.” Jay felt relieved after knowing Muskan was doing absolutely fine in her life. With his signature smile, he said goodbye to both of them and returned to the party.
“How have I never seen this beautiful smile of his before?” Urvi mumbled to herself, looking at Jay leaving from behind.
In the dining room of a large mansion, some people were waiting for someone in front of the meal. Those people are Vivek and Sheela Roy. There were 3 guests with them. Mr. and Mrs. Saaz and their daughter. They all were waiting for Jay.
An assistant came from behind and whispered something in Vivek Roy's ear.
"Looks like we'll have dinner without Jai today. He suddenly had to go to a meeting with our international client. He said he was sorry that he would be late today. Let's start eating." Vivek gave Jai's message to them and they began their dinner. Ms. Saaz had an expression of disappointment on her face throughout her visit after she heard about Jay.
After Saaz's departure, Sheela asked Vivek in a very serious voice about what had happened. "What do you think? That boy has gone to some ordinary reunion instead of coming here today."
"How irresponsible can he be? He knew that today we were going to discuss his relationship with Saaz's girl and we need it for our new venture in the jewelry business."
"I don't know why he has become so rude? Earlier, he would obey us, without any question. But now he opposes everything."
"Don't you know why? Ever since he met that girl. This is the situation since then. And he must have gone to meet her at that reunion. I’m sure of it. That girl's wretchedness doesn't leave my son at all. She made him rebellious. Even after staying away for so many years, he still has a bee in bonnet about that girl.”
Both the husband and wife were covering up their mistake by blaming this careless act of their son on someone else.
“We’ll have to make him forget that girl, honey.” Jay’s mom was very eager to get his son married off to Saaz’s girl.
Unaware of his parent’s plotting, Jay enjoyed his evening with his old peers at the reunion.
