Kim Tae-ri’s POV
Mimi, who noticed Wonjoo had something bothering him, tried to break the ice. “Omygosh, just tell us Wonjoo! Even if you want to be a stripper, we won’t judge you!”
“WHAT?!?! I DON’T WANT TO BE A STRIPPER!!!” Wonjoo shouted. The three of us laughed as we were bowing to say sorry to everyone who was looking at us now. Gosh, we are embarrassed. Welp, at least we are having fun.
“I want to be a writer.” Wonjoo told us suddenly.
Our laughs immediately died down as Wonjoo rambled quickly. As if trying to not lose the moment and courage he has left.
“I don’t know I just love writing stories, but I know it’s not practical and I don’t have enough experience and I’m not smart enough to do that!” He catches his breath and pauses.
“T-that’s w-why…” He stuttered softly.
“That’s why I’ll just be a system engineer instead.” I almost couldn’t hear what he said. His voice faded off.
No one spoke for a while until Mimi yelled.
“HUH?!??! ARE YOU STUPID, WONJOO? IF YOU WANT TO BE A WRITER, THEN BE A WRITER! WHY ARE YOU GIVING UP SO EASILY? DO YOU WANT ME TO BEAT YOU UP?”
Me and Da-yun also joined in.
“That’s right, Wonjoo. Go for it! If that’s what you love doing, we support you!”
Da-yun nodded. “Yes, yes. It doesn’t matter how quick or how talented you are when you start. This isn’t a race, it’s a long run! That’s why we’ll go to college. To learn and prepare us.”
“I’m actually proud of you, Wonjoo. You know what you want to do.” I smiled at him.
“HAHHAHAHA! I THOUGHT YOU’RE GONNA BE BABY FOREVER, WONJOO!!! Just look at how much you’ve grown!” Mimi hugged him.
I could feel someone poking me on my arms. It was Da-yun, she was telling me that we should join in the hug. We rose from our seats and went to them.
“We’ll support you with everything you choose to do, Wonjoo!”
“That’s right. We are your first fans.”
“I’ll kill you if you don’t become a writer.”
We laughed at the encouraging words Mimi gave Wonjoo.
“T-thank you, g-guys.” We heard Wonjoo sob.
“Aw! Our baby, Wonjoo!!!” We hugged tighter.
Sigh. My friends are so sweet.
“Uhm, guys. I think we hugged for long enough.” Wonjoo informed us. We giggled and went back to our seats to eat.
“Actually, guys. I have a story that I’m writing but I haven’t published it anywhere yet. Would you guys like to read it?”
We were shocked to hear that Wonjoo has started his writing career already.
“WOW!!! OMG, WONJOO. I DIDN’T EXPECT THIS FROM YOU.” Mimi grabbed Wonjoo’s phone and tried to sit between me and Da-yun so we could read too.
“GIrl! Scootch over. You know, these hips don't lie.” Mimi told Da-yun.
“Ugh. This narcissist.” Da-yun rolled her eyes and followed Mimi.
“Okay. Let’s read this.”
“Off Cam? Is this it, Wonjoo?” Mimi looked at Wonjoo who nodded in response.
Mimi went to the first chapter and the three of us started to read it.
….
OMGG?!?!?! WHAT ARE WE READING?!?!? WHY IS THE FIRST CHAPTER A DETAILED SEX SCENE ALREADY?!?!?
Me, Mimi, and Da-yun looked at each other with our faces beyond shock. We looked back and forth with Wonjoo and his phone.
DID WONJOO REALLY WRITE THIS??
The three of us couldn’t say anything out of shock while Wonjoo was giggling.
Finally, Mimi broke the silence. “WONJOO?!?!? WHAT IS THIS??!?!? ALL THIS TIME WE THOUGHT YOU’RE INNOCENT?!?!”
“AHAHHAHAH! Well, sorry. It’s just a writer’s fantasy!” We all laughed together.
“What a shocker, Wonjoo. Who thought you’d be so damn horny?” Da-yun commented.
The three of us couldn’t help but to laugh louder.
Is this what you call a writer’s mind? Who would have thought that an innocent looking face like Wonjoo would be able to write this hot of a sexual scene?
Hahaha. I guess I'm not the only one who was hiding something.
