As Walter fell on his bed while he looked at the ceiling, he thought that maybe making a magical journal will be counted believable and adventurous to his eyes. The young boy then stood up and took an empty leather notebook his dad gave him last Christmas as he designed it to make it look old-fashioned and "magical." Walter was very creative and ended up making it look appealing for his taste.
Walter made the plain lock notebook looked like a dusty leatherbound journal with a lock inscribed with the motif of a hand-drawn tree; He added a fake blue jewel embedded in the center to make it look "Whimsical. He was happily in awe of the overall look and cherished it as he hugged it to his chest.
Walter started to write all of his stories on his desk happily. People may think it is surreal unless he is trying to write a fictional fantasy book, and of course, which is not. As aunt Meyer thought his sister was at home all day, she decided to do the "house job" only by herself with a sulked face. As time passed, aunt Meyer prepared dinner for the three of them and set the food on the dinner table. She served each plate of lentils with spätzle and sausage plus a good for three Käsespätzle. Aunt Meyer yelled, "The food is ready!" she said as she put the tableware utensils on the table. Not long, Ms. Friedrich has gone to the table seemingly, looking if Walter was still there; his son was not there. Aunt Meyer then said that Walter might be doing something in his room with a questioned face.
Ms. Friedrich knocked softly on Walter's door. "Honey, Dinner's ready?" The young boy did not answer. The mother decided to knock on the door again. She clears her throat as she asked, "Honey, are you in there?" feebly worried, she opened the door. "Alright, Mom's coming inside." Upon entering his son's room, he saw Walter sleeping on his desk with the book he was writing on. It looked like Walter was tired, so her mum decided to let Walter sleep. Mrs. Friedrich thought that Walter might woke up late at night. She put a blanket on him while Walter groaned feebly upon the blanket's touch but got comfortable after a few seconds.
Her mom goes back to the dinner table. She saw Aunt Meyer feasting alone by herself. "Sister, you didn't even wait for me," fretted she was. Aunt Meyer jokingly spoke as he drank a glass of water. "It's not a big deal, Joanne. I just got tired of waiting..." she put down the glass of water and followed, "Well, where is Walter?" candidly, she asked. Her mom prepared a portion of food for her son with a cover as she answered. "He's asleep, and he'll probably wake up later at night," Ms. Friedrich replied. "Oh~ Joanne, the food might get wasted if Walter did not wake up, as you said." Aunt Meyer insisted. Ms. Friedrich shrugged it off as he headed with Walter's food as Meyer sneered behind her. "Very well." she sat back as she ate her food. Mrs. Friedrich opened her door and placed it beside Walter as she smiled, "Night, night." she slowly closed the door as Walter slept soundly.
A few hours passed; Walter woke up from his sleep. He noticed the food beside him and brushed his eyes. The young boy smiled and felt loved since her mother was often away. He huggled the blanket then removed it to start dining the food. Though its hotness fades as hours passed by, Walter enjoyed it for a while. Ought of sudden cold breeze, brushed upon his windows; the wind was cold and brash as it felt.
Walter was alarmed yet bamboozled as he looked to the window. The sky was quite cloudy, but there were still stars seen boldly shining. He saw the weird shadowed thing just like what her mother described, although were lights shining near it. Walter made a keen look; he then mumbled a word, "How awesome was that? Just like what mom said." he whispered. The light along the clouds made the shadowed appearance be crystal clear. "It's an airship! Blimey, in the middle of the night?" The airship continued to flew seemingly trying to stray away from something.
Still, Walter was amazed at what happened. Walter has realized that this moment would never last. Quickly he goes to fetched his camera in his drawer. Luckily Walter never loosened its battery. He hastily goes back in position to snap a photo. In his shock, it was not visible on the camera. Walter put down his camera and looked at the crystal-clear silhouette of the airship, he can see it with his own eyes, yet his camera cannot. He saw it moved at an average pace like a boat gently streaming on the stream. Phantom and amazed Walter was, no matter what angle and view the young boy tried, nothing worked. Walter then sighed.
Walter can only look astonished at what he seemed for he knew he was not dreaming or just seeing things. Until the airship vanished, Walter dazed the sky. He felt that something out there was genuinely fascinating hidden behind the naked eye. "Blimey it is; Is this magic and otherworldly..."
