Have you ever watched the show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? There is something entertaining about watching these adults, many of whom are educated professionals, who can't remember the basic facts of fourth-grade history or fifth-grade biology.
The amount you've learned and forgotten could probably fill a library. But for every fact you've forgotten, it's likely you can still recall the lessons that matter most. These could be called the aha moments, where something your heard or experienced pierced your heart and you felt enlightened.
Maybe a teacher once pulled you aside and taught you a life lesson you've never forgotten. Maybe you sat with a friend over coffee and something they said struck you like a lightning bolt. Maybe God spoke to you in the deep hours of the night and you were never the same. Perhaps you'll encounter a few reading this book.
Be ready for the aha moments. They matter.
