"What did you say?...you can bring her back?", Even rushed to Alfredo and asked."You not me, you are going to bring her back ", Alfredo corrected her. "How?...tell me how now!", Even yelled. "Relax....I was going to ", Alfredo said as he sat on the tombstone."Normally when people die their souls pass on to the Domain of the Dead, or Hell as you call it. But in special situations where there's a form of grudge existing in the soul, an untimely death or unfulfilled wishes, it causes the soul to be tethered to the World of the Living. They live as wandering spirits or....ugh Ghosts", he explained. "Your mother died with a grudge in her heart or something like that guess we'll have to ask her herself. Her soul is tethered to this tombstone. Awaken her", he added. "How do I do that? Tell me now Alfredo."Even said whilst wiping her tears. Alfredo's words had filled her with hope, the hope of seeing her mother again. "Use your skill, SOUL REARER, to sense and summon her soul. This is how it works, you know how I said her soul is tethered to this tombstone, using Soul Rearer, change the medium of tethering from the tombstone to you", Alfredo said. "Just close your eyes and try to focus your spirit on the tombstone and evoke your skill.", He continued. He opened his mouth to say something else when he froze and turned around. He smiled and said to Even,"Get to it girl, we have company." The bushes rustled as a man with silver hair in a silver suit appeared. "For a ghost to sense me, you aren't that bad", he chuckled and said as he dusted his sleeves. "Wandering Spirit", Alfredo corrected as he approached the man in the suit. "Oh, you're approaching me ghost? Interesting, you have guts I'll give you that", the man said as he walked towards Alfredo. "Even start the process...NOW!", Alfredo yelled and dashed towards the man in silver. "Oho.....I suppose you can't die without knowing your killer's name. Oh wait you're already dead ghost... Remember it well, the name of this great one, Cain!", saying that, the man in silver, Cain, dashed towards Alfredo. "Rising Torrent: Dance of Ten Thousands Shadows!", Alfredo yelled whilst making complicated gestures. The shadows in the graveyard rose and surged like waves towards Cain. The shadows climbed up his body and bound him in place. "Rising Torrent: Torrential Downpour", Alfredo cast his second spell and a portion of the shadow torrent rose, turned into shadow spears and rained down on Cain. "Interesting..guess I should retailate then ...Law: All Falsehood Void!", With that short incantation, the downpour of shadow spikes dissipated and Cain was freed from his bondage. "All falsehood void, this law makes me nullify anything that exists outside the boundaries of common sense. Pretty interesting right?", Cain said explaining his ability. "You think I don't know about Laws, explaining how they work only makes the Law stronger. "Alfredo said. Cain was visibly surprised and he said,"Guess you know your stuff eh? Mr. Wandering Spirit. But ask yourself, how can I see you?" Cain replied. Then it dawned on Alfredo, apart from the Soul Sovereign no one should be able to see souls unless.."You have it don't you, The Eyes of The Dead" he said with a grim look on his face. "Bingo!", Cain said as he took of his shades revealing a pair of silver eyes. "I can see you.....and I can touch YOU!", with that, Cain lunged at Alfredo and began attacking with his first. Alfredo would not be outdone as he also attacked countering all of Cain's attacks. "Hurry up girl, things are getting murky here!", He said to Even who was still figuring out how to unleash her SOUL REARER skill. "I'm trying... I'm doing my best but it's not...",she began to reply when she heard,"Fol...... Follow.... follow my voice..", a soft soothing voice said and Even immediately knew who it was. She closed her eyes and a brightly lit path appeared in her mind. At the end of the path was Martha, her mother. Even knew what to do. She rushed up the path and it disappeared. Opening her eyes she took a deep breath and said,"Surge Sursus!"
