[TIP: What happens next is in Koba's dream]

I was lying flat on the ground- Wait, on the ground?  I looked around to see that I was in a place very similar to the park I first found myself in. Except it was neither cold nor hot, the nighttime sky above was aglow with shimmering auroras and the moon was glowing a ghostly blue. And the stars formed unfamiliar constellations, they were forming pictures of various people, Moku was glowing brown, Kira a hot pink, and Zanina a sky blue. I walked about to see that the ground dropped off like a cliff, but there was a crude floating walkway lined with paper lanterns. At the end was an ordinary-looking doorway with an ornate archway before it. I tried to go through but was denied passage by an invisible barrier. Feeling rather foolish, I bowed twice and was able to pass. Past the door was a straight stretch of the pathway with a door at the end, light shone through the gap of the ajar door. I felt that something very important  was behind this door. I rushed toward it, I found that my legs got heavier and felt as if they were filled with lead.

"Koba..."

This strange world faded around me...

Moku: "Koba, Joe needs you!"

I snapped awake, Moku was knocking (or banging) on my door.

Koba: " I'm coming Mok- WOAH!"

*FWUMP!*

I tripped on my tail as I tried to get up.

Moku:" What's going on in there?"

Koba:"The inevitable heat death of the universe!"

Moku:" Yeah, yeah, veeeery classy, he needs you in the basement."

Wow, I have such a sophisticated sense of humor! Anyway, I went down to where the door where the basement was.

Koba:" Huh!? What the..."

This door looks exactly like the doors from my dream!

Koba: "Just me losing my marbles perhaps."

The door was labeled: "Basement, Storage, and Utility Control.". The basement was much colder than the rest of the place. I clomped down the steps into the darkness, I felt more uneasy at each step down. I tensed up as I heard some shuffling noises from the pitch-black void around me.

Joe:" Hey Koba! I'm over here!"

Koba:" Where are you? I can't see shit!"

Joe:" Just follow my voice!"

I tried to trace his voice and made my way toward it. This really is a storage space because I had to weave past large objects I cannot see. This is getting scary, I really hate not being able to see where I'm going.

*BUMP*

*CRASH!*

Koba: "Hope that was nothing important"

When I was about halfway, I heard some noises behind me. I was not ready for what was going on behind me. In the light cast from the top of the basement stairs, I saw a boy. He had very untidy black hair , he was wearing an oversized long sleeve, grey pants, and slip ons. I could not see his eyes but I had the edgy feeling that he was indeed staring at me, from under the darkness covering his eyes ran a single tear. The creepiest thing was that I felt that I have seen him somewhere before.

Koba:" Hey... w-what are y-you doing down here?"

No response, Joe's voice rang out from the other direction.

Joe:" Hey, what's taking you? I really need a hand here!"

One glance away and the boy was gone.

Joe needed some help with the fusebox, we soon finished our task.

Joe: " May I ask you something?"

Koba: " Well you just did...But I'm all ears."

Joe: " What were you staring at?"

Koba:"..."

Joe:" There's no point in lying, I saw you staring at  literally nothing."

Koba:" Will you promise not to call me crazy?"

He nodded slowly...

Koba:" Well I heard something from behind me... I turned around... and I saw this boy... about my age probably...but when I turned around and looked back he disappeared."

Joe:" Hmmmm... Maybe Zanina can help you with that, he's into that sort of thing."

We went back up to the brighter ground floor, my eyes stung as they adjusted to the blinding light. Moku was in the common room with someone else, Kira was there.
