With partial of my memorials being dug out by my mind, I was being visualised that I was in an office, walls painted white and the carpet light brown with repeated triangle patterns. Behind the desk was an enormous window, seen as an entire wall. Outside was a large lake and cars were rushing by, through the traffic lights and disappearing by the buildings blocking the view. The sky was partly cloudy however it seemed like at any few hours, it'd pour rain. By the height I'm at, I could be over 40+ floors high. I was sitting in front of a wooden desk and the chair was not occupied but not until a man with brown hair in a suit came in, welcoming and greeting me.

He seemed like a joyous and bright person. He held a file in his right hand, dropped it down on the table and sat down on his office chair which stood on the opposite side of the table I was sitting at. He gave me a cup of tea to drink while discussing this matter. For the next few minutes, my mind couldn't perceive what he was saying and all this was translated into gibberish and mumbles while I was taking small sips from the tea. He then slid over a paper and pen it was a form. It was a contract and he politely asked me to sign it. It was a way to confirm that I have agreed on accepting the terms and willing to proceed further into this.

"Take as long as you want to sign it. Do not feel too pressured, it is your option if you would like to participate in this experiment," he reminded. "The experiment may affect your mental health however we are told to pay high to our subjects to compensate for them after this. Proceed at your own risk."

With a second of glance at the earning, I felt immediate astonished energy flowing all over my body at the speed of light. $143,250 within a month I can make once I'm done and out of this experiment! Without a second thought, I shouted yes. I quickly snatched the pen off the table but dropped it because of joy. I picked it up and signed the contract, handing them back to the man.

He grinned, stood up and bowed.

"You have been warned about the risks that can be encountered within this experiment. Do not inculpate us if anything happens." He lead me back down into the lobby and took me into a fancy-looking black car. When I settled myself in the car, through the window he smiled and grinned. I began to feel creeped out by that smile but I did not think of it much. The car was spacey inside and it smelled weird but nice. It smelled like new books and I didn't mind it. I noticed that there was a small security camera pointing toward me above the front window of the car. The driver then turned to me and asked if I'm ready. I said I was. The driver was a man with black hair, paled skin and wearing fully tinted black glasses. He was also wearing a suit and headphones. The driver was about to drive off till the car accelerated so much that made me fly forward but was caught by the seatbelt. I was thinking in my mind "this driver is shit at driving, we could crash at any moment" and I wanted to get off. My heart began beating fast and I was filled with apprehension and started exhaling loudly.

"Ah, sorry about that sir. I accidentally pushed the accelerator pedal instead of the brakes," he responded.
