The black-haired stranger kept his grip on the other boy.
"Like shit you are! Do you recognize how much paperwork i'd be stuck doing if the police found out i was witness to blonde idiot being smeared all over the tracks?" The stranger said, with an oddly delayed bite of aggression in his words, which seemed to trail off at the end. The blonde in question looked down from the boy gripping his wrist, trying to avert his gaze from the apparent anger of his captor.
"Well?" The boy in the blazer followed. A few moments passed with no response, prompting the stranger to heavily sigh as he loosened his grip slightly.
"You like coffee? There's a diner a couple blocks down, on 16th and Mint." The blonde boy gave a curt nod as the stranger practically dragged him out of the station by the wrist.
"So, what's your name? Or are you too out of it to tell me?" The irritated leader asked.
"It's Satou.. Tatsumi Satou."
"A strange name for a strange person i guess.." A moment passed as they walked.
"I'm Alister." he continued, as the two walked for about twenty minutes. As Tatsumi and Alister walked, tatsumi stared at the buildings they passed. Each block in monos was exactly the same in format; building, building, alley, building, building, street. building, building, alley, building, building, street. building, building, alley, building, building, street. the pattern continued until Alister abruptly stopped at the first building.
Looking up, Tatsumi saw an oddly old-looking diner, with a faded green neon sign that said 'Tom's Sit-Down Diner'. Alister lead Tatsumi into the diner, opening the door for him as the let go of Tatsumi's hand. As Tatsumi walked in, Alister followed, pointing to a table by the corner that had two red leather seats and an oak table. Alister rudely flumped himself down into his seat as Tatsumi sat in a quieter and more polite fashion.
Tatsumi looked over at the wall for a few seconds, staring at the tile pattern. The more he gazed and the harder he focused, the harder it became for him to think. His vision went blurry as he stared. It was as if reality was peeling away around him, and he had no words or thoughts for what he saw underneath, if he even saw anything.
Reality isn't what it seems for the people of Monos. And a plot that will destroy the world as they know it isn't helping. Meet The Catalyst, The Spade, The Star, and The Moon.
