Transcript of the first interview with James Stuart
Description of prior events: Subject was found sitting in the corner of an alley; officers suspect the subject ran away from his home after a distressing event. Subject refused to come with enforcement until promised a “message to my friend”. Detectives are still trying to understand what the subject means by this. A detective (Dr. Laily) volunteered to interview the subject.
Dr. Laily: Do you understand why you’re here today?
Subject 047: No, uh, I don’t...
Subject begins to hunch his shoulders.
Dr. Laily: Okay. I’m going to have you answer a few questions, alright?
Subject 047: Uh-huh.
Dr. Laily: What’s your name?
Subject 047: James, sir.
Dr. Laily: Could you tell me your last name, please?
Subject 047: I - I don’t want you to be mad at me.
Dr. Laily has a confused look on his face. He shakes his head.
Dr. Laily: I won’t be mad, kiddo. I’m a psychiatrist. I’m here to help.
Subject 047: I’m James Stuart.
Dr. Laily: How old are you?
Dr. Laily’s eyes dart up to the security camera.
Subject 047: You don’t care about my last name?
Subject appears to be more relaxed.
Dr. Laily: Why would I be? It doesn’t matter what your great grandparents did. You’re your own you.
Subject 047: You - really? Really, sir?
Dr. Laily: Yes, it doesn’t matter. Now, would you tell me how old you are?
Subject 047: I’m 12.
Dr. Laily: Okay, James, do you remember where you were before you came here?
Subject 047: I dunno, sir.
Dr. Laily: Would you try to remember?
Subject 047: I'm really sorry, sir, I can't remember.
Subject pulls his knees up to his chest, inhaling and appears stressed.
Subject 047: I - I swear, sir, I'm trying to remember...a bench, I think! Ugh, my head hurts...
The table in the middle of the room trembles.
Subject 047: I just want to go home...
Dr. Laily: Okay, James, that’s fine. You don’t need to talk anymore. Do you want me to get you a juice box?
Subject 047: ...uh-huh...
Dr. Laily leaves the room. Subject relaxes muscles as soon as the door closes.
Subject 047: I just wanna see my friend...they said I could...
Subject pulls up sleeve. A tattoo is on the subject’s lower left forearm.
Subject 047: I'm going home.
At this point in the tape recording, the camera and audio cut out.
According to a detective who checked with Ms. Stuart (the subject’s mother), the subject had returned to his room at the exact time the feed cut.

This is a non-linear story.
Although the main story is a mystery, keep in mind this is a thriller story. There are frightening elements. Be warned, sometimes it seems to come out of nowhere. A mature warning will be put in place when necessary, but this story overall is not for the faint of heart.
