" Nothing. Nothing at all. I mean I get it. - " She continued with a sly smile. " - He's got a good personality, good looks and by the sounds of it he seems like a sweetheart, ooh also bonus points for being a pro boxer. I mean I would see why anyone would fall for him - "

" That's it!! " I yelled as I cut her off in the middle leaving her stunned. " Of course! Luke!! It was just sitting under my nose the whole time!! " I mumbled excitedly as I rummaged through my bag for my notepad and pen.

" Alright. So, yeah... Pro underground league boxer ... turn police, six years later... leaves the boxing scene after an incident... Starts secretly investigating a case involving the death of his friend ... Starts liking this junior officer who actually knows his past ...

The other guy gets close to him because he suspects this guy to be involved in the case... Later the protagonist realizes this guy is his friend's brother that he used to hang out a lot with, no wonder he started liking this guy so much...

But that guy is supposed to be dead... So he starts suspecting him in return... And both of them are at crosshairs and they realize that there's a bigger thing going on behind the death of the protagonist's friend and that if his brother who is clearly alive, is alive then that guy could be alive too!!!

Perfect!! There's so much I can build on here!!! Rich plot and a lot of romance!! Perfect!!!"

I rambled off as I wrote as quickly as I could in an attempt to catch up to my brain that was firing off millions of amazing conspiracy theories.

Kris just blinked the whole time and when I finally brought my pen to a halt, she said, " And here I was just trying to tease you. "

" Ahhhhhh thank you so much, Krissyy!!! I always knew I could count on you. Okay, I've got to go jot down some stuff. See ya later. Thanks again!!! " I thanked the bewildered Kris with a head pat and took off.

When inspiration strikes, it strikes. Not like a cane hitting you but more like a lightning bolt zapping the living lights out of you.

And when that happens to me I love finding a quiet spot under a tree where I can go off into my own world and bring it to life through my writings.

So off I ran to see where this plot would take me. A turning point in my life that I only realized later. Later, when it was too late to ever go back.
