I Was All Alone at Home, a Police Officer Knocked on The Door. I Opened It the door, “POLICE OPEN UP,” he yelled. “Is everything okay?” I asked, holding onto the door. “I need a moment of your time,” he said. I let go of the door so that he could enter. We Sat Down and Talked.
I hopped on the couch and crossed my legs. The cop stood up and started asking questions. “What do you know about your parent’s death?” he asked. “There Was a Fight Next Door, and a stray bullet flew through the window and killed them.” “They Were Killed by A Stray Bullet,” I said, becoming emotional.
He Looked at Me. “Stick with That Story If Anyone Ever Asked,” he said. I looked at Him Strangely. “Excuse me.” “What do you mean by that?” I asked him. “Questions Get People Hurt…,” he said, bending down, getting close to my face and looking me in the eyes. He made me very uncomfortable. He Paused for A Moment, Then Said, “People Don’t Like What They Find.” “Have A Good Night Mam,” He Told Me then he Left I Looked Out the Window, and He Drove Off in A Black Unmarked Car.
A Couple of Months Later…
Lyd’s phone rang; she answered it, and she freaked out. A loud boom went off, it sounded like a gunshot, but it was close. I Swear Somebody Shot at The House. I Was Scared as Shit. Lydia looked at me with wide eyes. “I’m so sorry” “I’m so so sorry,” she said with her voice cracking. “What are you talking about” “are you okay?” I asked her. “I did some digging around to get more information on your parents, and I think I found out too much,” she said, looking down. “who was that on the phone?” I asked her I Looked at Her As if She Was Fucking Crazy, I Shook Her.
“Your parent Were into Something Deep, and They Owed Money.” “Don’t tell me, Me Shit!” “I Don’t Want to Know.” I Had Just Turned 17 a couple of months ago I Didn’t Want to Die! I Heard Bagging on The Back Door, I Grabbed Lyd and Pulled Her into The Closet. I Covered Her Mouth and Closed My Eyes. I Heard Footsteps Walking I Felt the Vibrations on The Floor as The Footsteps Reached Our Room. I Dialed 911 And Pushed the Phone into A Shoe; that way, the police could hear everything going on and get here quickly. If they can’t find it, we are safe nobody would think to look in a shoe. We Waited Not Making a Sound.
The Closet Door Busted Open and One by One, We Were Dragged Out of the closet. I Wasn’t Scared Anymore Because I Had Called the Police. I Was Dragged into my Parents’ Room and Thrown on The Bed. I Screamed, but I Was Snatched Up by My Damn Neck. Tears Rolled Out My Eyes, as I Was Face to Face with the Cop Who Came to the House Months Ago, “Now What Happened After Our Little Talk?” “You Went Asking Questions, Huh?” He asked. I Didn’t Say Anything His Grip Got Tighter Around My Neck. “No,” I Pushed Out, “What Did You Say?” He asked. “No,” I Uttered Out Again. “I can't breath” I Wined Out He Loosened His Grip.
“Now It Was as Simple as You Keeping Your Mouth Shut.” He said, wiping the sweat face his face. “Now I Got to Teach You a Lesson,” He Said. “I Didn’t Do Anything.” I Cried “my partner has Got Pictures of You Asking Around. “He Said, “Want to See Them?” He Asked I Stayed Quiet “Rodney!” He Called Out to the other cop “IM BUSY,” the Voice Responded. “Busy Doing What” I Questioned. “Well, Rodney Likes Them Young” He Smirked at Me. Nasty Piece of Shit I Thought to Myself I Will Take Rape Over Death Any Day, But Lyd Wasn’t Made for This World She Was Very Fragile and Scary.
“Take Me It’s Okay I Won’t Fight Back Just Let Her Go I Begged” “Now What’s Prey If It Doesn’t Run First Otherwise It’s Just Boring” He Smirked. That Man In there with Lydia had to Be 40 “I don’t like little girls!” “Now Who Have You Been Talking to,” He Asked Me. “So, We Can Also Pay Them a Visit next.” “I Haven’t Spoken to Anyone,” I said, and It Made Him Mad He Pulled Out His Gun, Put It to My Forehead He Climbed on Top of Me. I Kept Complete Eye Contact, I Kept Thinking About Lydia in That Room with That Monster.'
“I’m not Going to Ask You Again” He Smacked Me in The Face with The Gun It Hurt Like Hell. “I Didn’t Do Anything,” I Cried Out. “Please Let Us Go.” I Begged, “I Can’t Do That,” He Said. I Heard Lyd Screaming from The Other Room. I Begged Them to Let Us Go. “Where the Fuck” “Where Are the Police!” I screamed He laughed, “I Am the Police!” “I Could Kill You! And Walk Out Just Like I Did with Your Parents.” I Attacked Him Knocking Him on The Floor and Running Like Hell. I Ran out of The Room Looking for Lyd. She Was in The Room Naked Shaking She Kept Herself Turned Away from Me.
“We have to go!” “We need to run now,” I said, shaking. I Turned Her Around She Was Covered in Blood and something else. “He Raped Me She Yelled Out!” I Pulled Her Arm, but She Didn’t Move. “Lyd We Got to fucking Go!” I cried, looking at the door. She Sat There Shaking, I Broke the Window and Jumped Out! I Had No Choice but To Leave Her. I Grabbed a Piece of Glass Out the Window, I Ran I Was Scared as Shit Running Down the Street Trying to Find Help. “Help!” “Somebody help us,” I screamed in the darkness. The Police Never Came. That’s the Hood for You.
I Got to A Neighbor, and They Called the Police Then They Fucking Came, They Arrested the Officer. Later I Found out That the Other officer Was Dead or that’s what they told us. If I ever saw his face again, I would know. The Cop’s Story Was: He Received a Distress Call So He Broke into The House and Found Rodney Lucus Raping a Young Girl. Therefore, He Shot Him the Bruise on My Face Was from The Fall Out the Window the Shot Freaked Me Out, So I Ran and Jumped Out the Window. Also, I Was Sleeping the Whole Time, the noise woke me up and fled.
We Had Two Choices Tell the Truth or Go with The Cop’s Story. I Didn’t Want to Die Point Blank. I Knew They Weren’t Going to Believe Me, And the Cop Was Dirty with Connections. Lyd Didn’t Talk Much After That Day. The Cop’s Lawyer Offered Us a Nice Amount of Money to Keep Our Mouths Shut. Lyd and I both Signed Papers and Took the Unregistered Money. Lydia Family Came Back into Town Freaking Out After They Heard the News, the Fake News At Least. I Couldn’t Look Them in The Eyes I Told Them That I Couldn’t Stay.
I Couldn’t Be in That House I Couldn’t Be in That State. I Never Found Out Who That Was That Tried to Warn Me. a couple of months before I left on my 18th birthday, the money was given to us in cash. Lydia’s parents were told That the Money Came from The Life Insurance from My Parents as Well As The Law Enforcement Agency The Second Time Was My Fault for Being Careless and Messing with Online Dating Sites. His Name Was Samuel He Was So Respectful and Gentle. However, Later to Find Out He Was Crazy and Abusive and A Rapist.
“What Are You Doing, Baby?” Jay Asked. “Just Shopping Baby.” “Just Shopping,” I Told Him. I was on amazon looking for all types of systems. Jay worked at home, so he was chilling. I couldn’t tell him anything about my past only Lyd, and I knew, and that was a promise that we made. Honestly, How I Met, Jay Is Strange as Soon as I Moved Here to Florida, I Met Him. As soon as I Touched Down in Florida, He Was a Cab Driver. I Stayed in A Hotel for A Couple of Months Until I Found a Small Little Apartment.
Jay Made It His Mission to Always get Dispatched to Me No Matter Where I Was Going. I stayed at The Hotel at the time. The Winter Time I Moved into My Apartment. He Was My Best Friend Telling Me About Various Places in Florida We Went to Beaches Fun Spots Water Parks. The Breeze Was the First Place We Went as More Than Friends That Place Was Special. At Least I Thought So… After the Night He Brought Lydia, I Never Stepped Foot in That Place Again nor That Damn Apartment. I Packed My Stuff Went to A Hotel and Found Another Place in The Same City, but Somewhere Off the Map back up north, Where I Wouldn’t Be Found I Made Not to Be Seen my condo. Hey Baby, You Hungry? Jay Asked Coming to Sit by Me I Damn Near Threw Up My Guts.
“No Baby I Think I Ate Something Bad” “It’s Been Having Me Feel Funny,” I Told Him. “Oh, God, You’re Pregnant!” “With All 9 Of My Babies” He Joked. I Didn’t Find That at All Funny. I Pulled at My Cellphone and Scheduled a Checkup Because If I Wasn’t Pregnant Something Else Was Wrong

lYDIA even fucked Lynell the boy is still in damn high school a senior, I think. I didn’t know what to say about her; she didn’t look like she was in bad shape, but I swear mentally she was beyond damaged. I checked my phone to see if I had any messages, but I didn’t have anything Jay ass in love; we don’t even hang out more. And ebony ass… we chill make love then she sleeps all day I’m happy as hell she’s home, but she’s annoying. She said she’s trying to be a good mother. And as soon as one of the one hundred pregnancy tests reads positive. Ebony was going to give her all to me and stop her crazy lifestyle. It was time for me to go to work I had to get ready. Lydia's ass was still in the bathroom.
I busted into the bathroom, “Get the fuck” I was stopped in my tracks, there was blood everywhere! She had cut her damn wrist and was bleeding out. I called my job and told them I wasn’t coming in then I dialed 911. In the ambulance, she begged, “oh my god,” “don’t tell nobody!” I shook my head at her. What the fuck was she doing now? This wasn’t getting my attention. I was about to call Mya, but then she grabbed my arm and started yelling at me, “why didn’t you let me die?” She became so irate that they had to sedate her. I knew she was fucked up, but I had no idea how fucked up. When we arrived at the hospital, they told me to wait in the waiting room because I wasn’t family. I sat there waiting until I was allowed back when I got to her room she was out like a light I was about to leave, but then I felt sorry for her what can turn a person into this?
So I sat in a chair near her bed waiting, I nodded off, falling asleep. “Go home, T.” She yelled, waking me up. She didn’t want anybody to see her like this. I walked over to her bed; they had her in restraints. “Lydia, you are tripping man” “what’s wrong with you!” I said. I was frustrated; if this was a cry for attention, it was pissing me off! She began tearing up, then staring into space, not blinking or moving. “Aye Lydia, do you fucking hear me?” I snapped at her; she was acting crazy. Then out of nowhere; she started drooling and shaking; later, her shaking became worse, and she began to utter sounds the machines started going off with crazy sounds nurses came bursting in bushing me out.
I watched in horror as I walked back into the waiting room. Man, what the hell was happening to her? I became worried, she wasn’t faking it. I sat in the waiting room for hours; my phone went dead after the constant songs. I went up to the receptionist's desk asking if I could see her it had been two hours she gave me a sticker and let me in again. When I got to her room, I took a deep breath then walked into her room. She had bandages on her arms and multiple fluid bags being pumped into her. She looked like a robot with the wire things on her head. She must, indeed, be sick. Her bright skin had many bruises. I truly felt mad seeing her this way. She kept her eyes facing away from me. I tried to touch her, but she jumped from the pain. I couldn’t stand seeing anybody like this again; it was killing me; the last person I saw like this was my mother dying from cancer; it was killing me.
“Talk to me, Lydia!” “Tell me what’s happening to you.” I told her. She stayed silent, looking at the wall, then she spoke.
“I took the money,” she whispered with a hoarse dry mouth.
