"Did you fly here?" June asked. "No, I still have to get my broom." "Well, I know some good places. You're welcome to come along." "That would be awesome!" I exclaimed. This cheered my day up. The end of the school day went by fast and I got their phone numbers. I walked through the market on my way home. It wasn't as lively as before, but it was still enthralling. There was a band playing on the small stage. The band mates barely fit in there with all their gear. Music filled the air as the lead guitarist strummed along. I realized I'd rather walk through the market everyday to go to school. There seemed to be something new each time.
The next day I got up early. I decided to grab some breakfast on the way down instead of cooking. I took a shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed. I had to remember to buy one of the fruits from the old shopkeeper. They did look good the last time I passed by. Exiting the door to my little cottage, I noticed the air was filled with a morning dew from the rain from last night. It was crowded once again. It was nothing I hadn't expected. Spotting the elderly shopkeeper I made my way into the short line. My turn had come. "Hey, how are you doing today?" I asked her. "I'm doing well, young lady. Here to get some yummy fruit for breakfast?" I nodded. Scanning over peaches, I picked out the ones that looked the best. "I'll have these ones." She bagged them up and I paid. "You picked the best ones out of all. Good eye for a young lady." Smiling, I grabbed the bag out of her hands. She began to pick up a heavy box of apples and struggled.
"I can help. If you wouldn't mind." "Yes I would love the help. But these are really heavy. I was going to wait until my grandson came back, but I need to put another batch up." I looked down at her feet and it was a box of pears. The pears looked just as ripe as the bright, red apples she was selling. "I got this. Don't worry." I pulled out my wand. The one thing I felt like I had mastered was the levitation spell. Reciting the words needed for the spell I lifted it off the ground onto the table.
