Aiden's POV
"Hi, dad," I said, a smile making its way onto my face once I saw the bald, middle-aged man on the couch.
"Aiden!" he said, getting up from the couch and embracing me in a bear hug, asking worriedly, "Why didn't you text me or call me?"
My mother sighed, gently interrupting our reunion with a giggle, and said, "Aiden's been busy with school, hun. Let go of him before you suffocate him with that hug of yours."
The four of us laughed as Kayla began a pillow fight, her speciality. Multiple pillow hits and three dramatic fake-deaths later, Kayla won the pillow fight, running away from my parents as they tried to get her to bed.
As I lay in my bed, I thought about how calm Alex was or acted during what I could only describe as a panic attack. Maybe he helped someone with one before? 'I don't know that, but I know that his hands and fingers are massive...' I thought, remembering the feeling of his holding mine. Oh my god, my brain was going places and then sending those thoughts to my unmentionables. Oh no, I couldn't start imagining my childhood bully pinning my hands above my head with one hand while gently caressing my hip with the other, then moving his hand to my- OH GOD, NO! WHAT WAS MY BRAIN IMAGINING!??!?? No, no, no, NO!
I just laid there for a minute, trying to calm down my brain. I was simply laying there with my brain getting emptier of any thoughts…
'Maybe he'll kiss me again one day'- God damn it! I'm going to sleep before I can't look at the guy without thinking of a fantasy I had. I fell asleep almost instantly.
When I woke up, I felt like shit. I didn't want to go to school today or do anything, but I heard excited footsteps coming to my door, so I sat up -as much as I didn't want to- to avoid getting ambushed by Kayla first thing in the morning. I took my pillow in my hands, ready to strike first this time.
My plan went perfectly, and I was currently running into the dining room while begging Kayla for mercy. Oh, no; this was a plan against me all along! My father grabbed me and stopped me from running, and after a hit to the head, my dad and my sister high-fived in victory. I was about to say that it wasn't fair because it was two against one, but those words made the memory of yesterday appear in my mind again so I just congratulated Kayla on her win instead.
"Alright, breakfast's ready!" My mother said, placing mine and Kayla's plates of the most family-having-breakfast-in-a-movie breakfast you could imagine: sunny-side-up eggs and bacon. I quickly ate my food before rushing upstairs and changing clothes. I cleaned my glasses before placing them back onto my face and messing up my hair with my hand. I sighed after I left the house. Time to deal with today, I guess.
Hi! The final episode of the writing binge I'm having. I think -if I ever start going into writer's block again- I should make myself go on another writing binge because this helped me loads! I even have an episode ready for next Wednesday and have started on the one for the week after :) Anyway, I hope you have a good day/night/whatever time it is for you. Comment any suggestions you have for me or anything thoughts you have, and make sure to take care of yourself!
