"A true dragon... I should have known. Of course they send me here!" The man began laughing hysterically, however this time there seemed to be a trace of hopelessness in his cracked voice. As he cackled, he slouched to the ground as if he'd given up. But the mana surrounding him told a different story. Even without any abilities altering my vision, I could see the condensing mana clearly. He's collecting a lot of mana for something, and I doubt it's gonna be a party.

It would have been interesting to test the extent of my abilities, however i'm not entirely interested in what spell or ability he's planning on throwing my way. I gave the orb it's command, and as easily as it destroyed the ice arrows, a single purple plasma bolt leapt from the orb to the mage. Less than a second, and he was gone. The mana condensing around his body disapated almost immediately, leaving the courtyard somewhat quiet without the buzzing of all the elemental energies. I leaned against a building as I caught my breath and read the new influx of strange prompts that appeared before my gaze.
