" You want me to teach you how to box? " Luke asked, clearly surprised as he turned to face me.

" Yes. I mean no. I mean, I want you to teach me the basics of boxing. I'm uh... doing some research for a write-up I'm working on for my club project. " I said quickly.

This is why I was capable of being an author. I could fabricate stories out of thin air without so much as blinking.

" Oh, I get it now. Sure, sure of course. I'll be more than glad to help you out. " He said as he continued his stride.

" You can drop by anytime at the club when I'm around too. That way I can show you things practically so that they make more sense. " He continued excitedly as we reached the car.

I assumed that since it was his area of expertise, he was more than eager to share his knowledge.

Throughout the entire journey back he went over the basic terminologies and other things and answered every single one of the horde of questions I kept shooting at him.

And time went by so quickly that we were still talking about the different types of jabs while I opened the door to our room.

" Ah, I'm sorry! You got me all excited since I love boxing and I kept on talking the whole ride back! " He said as he scratched his head after tilting it in the now-familiar angle.

" No no. You're such a huge help. I'm just a little sad that I couldn't note down everything you said. " I said as I frowned a bit.

Asking me not to worry and that he would always repeat as many times as I needed, he made his bed. On the opposite corner of the room, I made mine as I thanked him.

Our beds were so arranged that they were diagonally across the room in such a way that we could sleep facing each other. Even though it would mean seeing each other upside down.

Tired from the day's work and trip, I stifled a yawn as I got into bed. I looked over to see Luke doing the same. A brief moment later we were silently looking at each other.

" We should go there again. The food was good. " Luke said sleepily. " Yeah. We should. " I said as I smiled back. " Thanks for taking me out for dinner tonight. Next time I'll take us somewhere. " He muttered half asleep.

" Sure. Good night, Luke. " I whispered, as my eyelids threatened to close. " Good night, Brandon. " He whispered back.

And just as I was about to fall asleep completely, I heard Luke muttering something in his sleep. I strained my ears a bit and all I could catch was, " Need to tell... Him... Not to worry ... Brother... "

I frowned as I tried figuring out what he meant, but my mind decided that it could wait till the next day and I went off like a light bulb.
