In the throne room at the ground floor of Rosethorne Castle was a king by the name of Richard Rosethorne. he was an enormously fat, bearded man with brown hair who wore an elaborate blue robe with gold linings. It was so thick that it made him look as if he were wearing a carpet. He was watching his son as he walked down the throne room. He was a young man with short brown hair who wore a blue outfit. He was slightly taller than an average man and was somewhat skinny.
`Arthur, my boy! Did you sleep well last night?'
`No, Dad' Arthur answered, sighing. He looked both annoyed and confused. `Seriously, what is it?'
`I have an incredibly important task ahead that only the likes of you could possibly accomplish!'
Arthur then sighed, again `What is it? Do I have to clean your toilet or something?'
`No-no-no my boy! Ahem, you see the town of Ashford has been taken over by necromancers and their zombie cohorts!'
`So I've heard' said Arthur ‘What s shame’
`Yes, but you see I'm old and... well, rather fat. And because commanding an army can be an exhausting and laborious task, especially for someone old like me, I'm giving the task to you!'
As soon as Arthur realised he was going to be commanding an army his face suddenly turned bright red `What?! You... you can't be serious!'
`Oh don't worry my boy! You'll have Norman watching all the way and if worst comes to worst, he'll do the job for you!' He then rose up and pointed opposite Arthur's direction `Now go! Norman's waiting for you right now in the briefing room upstairs!'
Shortly after that Arthur left the throne room and wandered around the castle almost completely lost. On the way he bumped into a young lady named Lydia, who was Arthur's girlfriend. She had long brown hair, wore a light pink frilly dress and wore her hair in a ponytail.
As soon as she saw him she she stopped and came over to him.
`Are you OK Arthur? You look like you've just seen a ghost!; She said while holding on to him, she then gazed into his eyes for a while.
`OK' Arthur sighed ‘Get a load of this: my Dad wants me to lead an army into a town taken over by necromancers and zombies’ Lydia immediately gasped
`Yes, because apparently he's too old and fat to do it himself.'
`Sounds to me like he's just being lazy!' Arthur chuckled upon hearing that
`Yeah, I'll believe that, though he probably just doesn't want to get himself killed'
`Yeah, oh by the way what are necromancers?'
`Necromancers? They're basically sorcerers who mess with the dead, they can be very dangerous. That reminds me, they have zombies with them and they can have absolutely loads of them too.'
`Oh... I'm really worried now! you'll be OK, right?'
`I don't know, anyway I have to go over to Norman, don't worry too much, OK?'
A tear started rolling down Lydia's eye.
`I'll try not to' she said, she then kissed Arthur and they walked away.
