I am happy I wrote this in advance. I have been sick for a few days and done nothing but sleep my days away because I couldn't stay awake.
Take me closer, take my clothes off, oh, I fantasize
Sometimes I fuck you in my head (mhmm)
I let you touch me when I'm lonely in my bed
Do you feel it too? Are you as obsessed?
Give me just a little sign, and I'll confess (ooh-ooh-ooh)
-FU In My Head by Cloudy June
Nine doesn't remember when class ended until he felt a tap on his shoulder, breaking him from his sinful fantasies.
"Nine?" Lee concerningly called once more.
Nine glanced up, holding back a flinch as he peered at Lee's concerned face and Jon's confused one. "Hmm?" Nine responded, trying to come back down to reality.
Fuck, he didn't pay attention to anything.
"Are you okay? We have been calling you; it is time to go to our next class." Jon responded. Nine had another class in ten minutes with Jon. Lee was lucky enough to have an hour's break before his next class.
"Yeah," Nine cleared his throat, standing up as he put away his clear notebook and chewed pencil. "Sorry, I guess I am still sleepy." Nine tried to excuse himself, keeping eye contact with Jon, fearing that if he looked forward, his mind might go silly again.
Once he finished packing his bag and strapping it over himself, Nine stretched, "I am ready to go. Lee, are you going to walk with us?"
Lee shook his head, "No, I will stay behind a bit and talk with Professor Vee."
"Oh, oh, ask about Professor Meyer." Jon quickly added.
"He won't give details." Lee instantly hit back. "I will see you two in three hours." He waved before walking down to the professor's desk.
Nine watched him walk away, slowly glancing toward the professor's desk while biting his lip. He ignored Jon complaining beside him about Lee as his eyes caught Vee.
A few students surrounded Vee, asking him some questions, and even though he answered back, Vee's eyes were on Nine.
They stared at each other, even though they stood a few feet apart, with students and desks covering the distance.
Nine felt his heart almost stop as the world slowed down between them. Those green eyes were pulling him in like that night. He could still feel the touches on his skin and the lustful voice whispering in his ear.
"Someone is eager."
His lips opened in a silent gasp as his breath hitched from the memories coursing through him. He could hear the moans as clear as day. His fingers flew to his lips, softly caressing them.
Those tempting eyes turned a darker green, watching Nine like they were the only ones in the room.
And God, they should never be alone because Nine wouldn't know what he would do if they were.
A slap hit his back, catching him off guard as he stumbled forward. "Hey, are you listening to me? I will throw a tantrum from being ignored today." Jon pouted.
Nine rubbed his back, glaring at Jon. Although, he felt grateful for Jon breaking him from his dangerous thoughts. He grabbed Jon's wrist, dragging them out of the room.
"After your hit, I won't listen to you ever again." Nine joked.
"I see you chose a tantrum, then."
Nine rolled his eyes with a smile, walking them to their next class. It took everything in him not to glance back and take one more peek.
The afternoon came as Nine chilled against a wall near the mathematics building. There was a good noodle place nearby that Nine wanted to eat at with Quin. Even though Quin has yet to text him, he wants to believe that Quin will be free.
He looked down at his phone, staring at the message chat between him and Quin. The last time they talked over the phone was a few days ago. The latest messages were mainly Nine asking when Quin would return home.
Honestly, reading them over made Nine want to cry. It was a sad sight and something that should not have been between a couple.
Shouldn't couples talk more than this? Why am I always the one sending messages?
Even now, Nine wanted to text Quin and ask if he was available. But he held himself back, not wanting to seem needier than he was. Staring at his phone, he didn't notice another's presence coming toward him.
"So, we meet again, huh?" The voice caused Nine to jump, almost dropping his phone.
Nine glanced up, his heart beating fast when he saw Vee in front of him. He licked his dry lips, "What are you doing here?"
Vee leaned closer, smiling while pointing toward the noodle shop, "Should I not be? My students were telling me that this place was good. I just saw you as I was coming over here. Do you want to join me?"
"I," Nine started, getting ready to reject Vee because he was in a relationship and should not sit with someone he almost slept with. But the ding from his phone cut off the rest of his words.
He quickly glanced at his phone with a hint of excitement, only for it to instantly turn into disappointment. He knew he shouldn't have set his hopes high.
I cannot make it.
Nine turned off his phone, pocketing it as he looked back at Vee, "Sure, I can join you."
Ah, what are you doing, Nine? He thought as they walked into the noodle shop, sitting near the back of the food place.
There were already menus on the table as Nine picked up one, staring at it but not reading any of the words. He still could not believe he agreed to eat with Vee. Once he saw Quin's text, he felt too disappointed, but he also wanted to get back at Quin for not picking him, again.
Was it childish, pettiness, bitterness, or even his stupidity making him this way?
Nine had never thought like this until a walking temptation entered his life.
"Is there anything you want? I can foot the bill." Vee spoke, interrupting Nine's thoughts.
Swallowing, Nine shook his head, "Yeah, I know what I want to get, and you don't have to pay for me too. I can pay for myself." His words sounded harsh towards the end, even though he did not mean them in a harsh way.
But Vee did not seem to mind, "Don't worry about it. As a professor, shouldn't I take good care of my student?"
Nine closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The way Vee said 'student' had him entering a fantasy that should vanish forever. Is it too late to take back his decision?
"Thank you, but really, there is no need." Nine insisted.
Before they could go back and forward on whose paying, the waiter came to take their order. After ordering, Nine and Vee sat there in silence, Vee staring at Nine while Nine looked anywhere but at Vee.
Vee smiled at Nine's behavior, "So, can I finally have your name?"
"You probably already know it." Nine commented.
"I want to hear it from you."
Nine counted to ten in his head, wondering if he should give Vee the satisfaction of winning. But it is pointless when Vee would probably win either way.
"Nine."
Vee brightly smiled, "Nine," his voice sounded deep and seductive as he repeated Nine's name.
Biting his lip, Nine looked up at the ceiling, wondering what else he could count to hide his reaction. Who thought it was bright to give me something forbidden? I have never been good with control.
Then, Nine jumped when he felt a foot rubbing along his leg. He pulled his leg back, looking at a neutral face Vee. Vee glanced out the window, acting as if he wasn't rubbing Nine's leg.
Nine opened his mouth, about to speak when their waiter returned with their order, setting it on the table. He swallowed back his response, thanking the waiter before grabbing his fork and looking at his noodles.
"Are you busy after 5 pm?"
Yes. Nine quickly thought, but the words out of his mouth were different.
"Why do you ask?"
"I feel that I know you better than the other students in the class, and I need help setting things up for your class. I don't know everything about how Professor Meyer taught the classroom, and I don't want to confuse people. So, would you help me?"
Nine bit his lip.
Nine being alone with Vee is a bad idea, so why is he split between a yes and no?
"Are you planning something?" Nine asked. Why aren't you saying no?
Vee leaned closer as his eyes dropped towards Nine's lips before glancing back up, "Do you want me to?"
Nine's breath hitched from the gaze, his eyes dropping towards Vee's lips before turning away with a cough. "No. If it is for help, I am free; if not, I am busy."
"So honest." Vee laughed. "Then I will see you after 5 pm."
Nine nodded before eating to stop himself from speaking any more words.
No, I am far from honest.
