(Later that night…)

I was sitting cross-legged on my bed, I was waiting for it to turn...

Koba: "8:30 PM"

Hoping not to disturb anybody, I snuck a floor down to his room. His door was open, he was sitting on the couch, waiting for me.

Zanina:"Have a seat"

I took a seat across from him, he was staring at me but in a calm way, not the intense stare from before. There were no lights on, the moon illuminated this place with a silver light.It was the perfect environment for what I was about to tell him.

Zanina: " So what's so important that you need to talk about it privately with me at this hour?"

I told him my story, afterwards, he looked a bit unnerved. He silently went over to  one of his shelves an pulled out a very thick and heavy book.

Koba: "So what's this? War and Peace?"

Zanina: " It does not have an actual title, but I call it the "Tome Of Astralology"

Koba: "Astrology? The study of stars?"

Zanina: " No, Astralology, the study of the Astral Plane."

I cocked my head to the side in confusion,

Zanina: "It goes by many names, heaven, Valhalla, the Spirit World, the 6th dimension, but I call it the Astral Plane. It is a non-physical and parallel plane of existence. Ghosts are a pretty common example of Astral Beings, but what exactly are they? An organism like you or I have two main forms,  a corporeal or physical form, and an Astral or Spirit form. Normally, a soul is bound to their physical forms by a kind of seal that breaks when the physical body dies or expires."

Zanina: " Allow me to elaborate, your body is not actually you. It is actually just a doll or puppet, a machine made of meat controlled by your Astral Body. Astral Body is a fancy term for your soul,  it is the very essence of who you are."

Koba:" And what about the boy I have seen?"

Zanina: " Well that's just a Lost Soul, bound to the realm of physics by an external force or because they have some unfinished business, or they may even just want to stay. In more tragic cases, they may not even know they are no longer alive."

I stifled a laugh.

Koba:" How can you not know you're dead?"

Zanina:"You'll never know, death can possibly act so quickly that you won't notice. Picture this, the first moment you go to sleep for the night and the next moment, you would be wandering around trying to be noticed by friends and family only to find it out the hard way."

Koba: " Tell me more about this Astral/Corporeal relationship, you've caught my interest there."

Zanina:"But this guy appears to cling onto you for some reason, the most logical thing to do is to find out what exactly he wants. "

*SKRITCH SHUFFLE*

Zanina:"Who goes there?"

Moku: " Just me, why the heck are you talking ghost stuff?"

We told her about the anomalous activity, she gave a confused glance.

Moku: "Oh come on, that's silly, do you seriously believe that, Zanina?"
