"Jonnathan get down here!" I run down stairs to see my mother and 4 older sisters all standing around the table. The are all looking at a piece of paper. As I come closer I see that it is a news paper cliping from one of the biggest newspapers in America. I read the headline. It says "WORLD ENDING BOMB DATE CONFIRMED" as I read the news paper my head is racing. This can't be true. It can't be. Right? Without saying a word Chelsea my oldest sister turns on our small TV and wordlessly flips through the channels. But she doesn't have to. They are all talking about the same thing. The bomb. We watch a reporter talking on the screen. She is making no move to cover up her emotions. And is speaking in a high-pitched voice. It kind of funny really, all of us huddled around in our cramped apartment with our pajamas staring at the TV. My sisters show no emoition as they stare at the TV. But I've known them long enough to know that they are all thinking the same thing. This is really happening. "So tell your loved ones you love them" said the crying reporter "Because the world ends in april"
VALERIE is used to knowing what's going to happen next so when things spiral out of control, she can no longer depend on her confidence alone to get her out of this mess. NOAH if there's one thing that bouncing around from place to place is: nothing lasts forever and trying to relive the past never ends well. Will he ever be able to call a place home? ASHER knows what he wants. It's getting there that is going to be hard. He also knows that open does NOT mean okay but at least he has his boyfriend Noah. They are all very different and sometimes that's not always a bad thing. Sometimes different is the only thing that's gonna save you.
