Read Anomaly :: A New Beginning? Or A Different End

Izuki’s clock went off, displaying the time to be 9:00 PM throughout his one-bedroom apartment. While groaning, he begrudgingly drags himself off his bed. His hair was a mess, he was only in underwear, and he wasn’t in the right state of mind to be thinking about work. Walking over to the bathroom mirror above the sink he observed his reflection,

"Hey, there handsom-" he stopped abruptly and paused.

"Nice try. Now show yourself" he said.

Draco warped into his room, wearing a lab coat. His cold dead eyes met with Izuki's. He felt like he was staring into a mirror. His eyes and heart softened as he observed his creation.

"Hmm, It seems the subject is now aware of my presence." He said as he scribbled furiously into what Izuki observed as a cooled-down star fragment. Not that he had ever seen what one looked like.

"Who are you? Why are you in my house?" Izuki asked calmly.

"Who are you? What is your name? And who told you that this is your house?" He said as he waved his hand across the room. At the wave of his hand, the room broke apart, revealing that they were moving at lightspeed through deep space.

Izuki was a bit taken aback by the spontaneity of it all. He barely managed to recollect himself and said calmly

"I go by Kikuhara Izuki, I work for a contracting firm in Tokyo, Japan. So? Who are you?" he asked.

"How to answer that question... I guess I'm essentially your Dad. I, I made you." he replied. "So any questions?"

What the fuck?! What do you mean by any questions? Of course, I have questions. Too many now in fact. Am I dreaming? And why can't I help but feel I forgot something important?

Sometime later...

"I see. So I'm essentially the second created human. You created me and I have been built on the scientific concept of adaptation. So when I experience different situations I grow as an organism, I have to experience enough situations to grow enough to fight the First seat of the Magna Pantheon and Creator of all existence, Void?" he asked still not fully grasping nor comprehending this weird situation he had found himself in.

"Essentially, yes. Detail-wise, No. You are the apex of all existence on earth. The perfect human... at least. That's the plan. The preparation is to be strenuous you are going to be broken, fixed, and broken again. I will mold you into a God that the pantheon must bow to." he said while rubbing his hands together.

Izuki shuddered. What kind of predicament had he fallen into? He missed his old bed. He most especially missed his job. He was moving at light speed through space but his clock said that it was 7:45 am. In 15 mins he was going to be late to work for the first time... And he didn't want to ruin his perfect attendance record.

"So then where are we headed? At... the speed of light?" he asked worriedly.

"Oh, don't worry about this. With your talent, you'll be able to do this in around a Century," he replied cheerfully.

"Also, I'm taking you to a place where your body, soul, and spirit will suffer for a good Ten thousand years. Don't worry about it" he stated plainly.

"Oh ok, I see.WAIT, WHAT?! WHY?! WE JUST MET! ALSO AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE MY DAD? WHAT KIND OF FATHER DOES THIS TO THEIR CHILD?" He asked distraughtly.

"Don't worry... You won't die. I think." he said as he increased speed causing Izuki to feel light-headed. He started to black out slowly and then silence.

.....

"Hey... Hey! HEY! Wake up! You fucking bastard!" a random voice called out to Izuki. His eyelids were groggy and his body felt heavy. He slowly opened his eyes only to be assaulted by the blinding light of a million suns. Another thing was the heat. It hit him like a freight train and he felt like he was lying on fire. He tried to open his mouth and gasp for air. Big mistake. The first breath he took felt like it had disintegrated his lungs. His throat throbbed and burned as though he had drunk a cup of Magma.

He tried to cry out in pain but no sound proceeded from his lips. Was he screaming in a vacuum? Multiple voices and screams rushed into his ears. Whispers, flashes of his past, glimpses of the future, words of varying accents, and tongues crushing his spirit. What was this place?

"This is hell." stated the being next to him. Izuki looked up despite his burning eyes to see a gate of bones, brimstone, and magma. Inscribed on the gate read the message, "𝕾𝖕𝖊𝖘 𝖔𝖒𝖓𝖊𝖘 𝖖𝖚𝖎 𝖍𝖆𝖘 𝖕𝖔𝖗𝖙𝖆𝖘 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖗𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖘. 𝕹𝖆𝖒 𝖔𝖇𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖆 𝖊𝖘." He couldn't read it. He looked towards the being who was now standing to his left and gestured toward the sign.

"Oh! that old thing? It's Latin. In Human English, it says..." the next words he spoke filled Izuki with a feeling of dread, unlike anything he had seen before.

"ℑ𝔫𝔣𝔢𝔯𝔫𝔲𝔪 𝔳𝔬𝔠𝔞𝔱, Wêl¢ðmê †ð Gêhêññå. †hê låñÐ ð£ †hê £ðrgð††êñ. ÄßåñÐðñ åll hðþê åll ¥ê whð vêñ†µrê þå§† †hê§ê gå†ê§. £ðr ¥ê håvê ßêêñ £ðrgð††êñ åñÐ ñðñê §håll þå¥ hêêÐ †ð ¥ðµr §¢rêåm§." he spoke in a Demonic distortion. Just hearing those simple sentences made Izuki feel like his brain was turned to a slushy.

Izuki had also noticed something. He had been here for roughly 10 mins... Why wasn't he adjusting to the pain?

No! The pain was increasing as time passed. This place was worthy of the name hell.

"I am going to be your caretaker. I am called DЯЦΣ, ΉΣ ЩΉӨ KIᒪᒪΣD DΣΛƬΉ Please feel free to ask me any questions."

'Why? Why me?' thought Izuki.
