“MOM!” Lennon cried out, slamming their house door open, “Help, please.” Lennon couldn’t help the despair that filtered into his voice. He was devastated despite not knowing the boy personally. All he knew was that he couldn’t live without his mate…either of them. 

“Blood…leaking…idk…” Melody and Oscars voices could be heard from their room as they discussed what had happened to the wolf. Lennon slid down the wall, his head falling into his hands. Then a warm hand rested on his shoulders. Lennon looked up and saw Jake leaning against the wall looking out into the distance. 

“Thx,” Lennon whispered. Jake simply nodded his head, understanding how Lennon felt. Although his connection with the wolf didn't seem as strong as it was with Lennon doesn't mean that he felt nothing. There was still an urge to protect the boy with everything he could.

After what felt like hours Oscar came out of the room and said, “You guys can go in now, he’s stable.”

“Oh thank god,” Lennon ran into the room with Jake following closely. When they got into the room they saw the boy sitting up staring out the window.

“Hi, thank you,” the strange boy said. 

“H-ii, I’m Lenn-lenn-lennon your ma-ate,” Lennon barely stuttered out.

“I’m Jake, you other mate,” Jake looked in awe, like a blind man seeing light for the first time.

“I know, my name is Jiale,” Jiale smiled at the two.

“WHAT? HOW?” they both exclaimed, surprised.

“Well I don’t know if you are aware, but I am a werewolf and we have mates too. I have felt you too for a long time. We learn about our mates when we turn 80. I’ve been waiting a long time to meet you.”

“I don’t know if I should ask, but why were you so injured?” Jake wondered, curious about what could have caused such injury and pain to his gorgeous mate. He was ready to gouge their eyes out, and he could tell his best friend was ready to do the same… or worse.

“It's a long story, why don’t you guys sit down?”

Lennon came forward and perched on the edge of the bed while jake opted to lean against the windowsill.

“Well, about 2 weeks ago I decided…” Jiale started.
