His friends quickly blocked the entrance of the alley. The other side was just a brick wall so they didn't block it off. “D-Dwayne? What’s going on?” I asked, backing up into a wall.
“Get him,” he spoke. And three of his friends walked over to me, with wide smirks.

I groaned as I woke up, staring at a black space. My vision adjusted and I remembered where I was. I was in an empty alleyway, beaten to a pulp. After Dywane and his friends pulverized me, he said, ‘You really think I brought you here to apologize? Tch, you really are gullible you good for nothing baby.” Well, maybe I am gullible.
I slowly got up, but pain was running throughout my body. It hurt very bad but I was going to have to get through it.
I stood there for a second, disappointed in myself. How could I let this happen to me?
I whimpered as I attempted to walk forward. There was a limp in my step, and I knew I would look odd to others. I fixed myself as best as I could (meaning, wiping off the blood, trying to hide the bruises, and attempting to walk right) and walked towards the exit of the alleyway.
Do you know how exhausting it is going to be to walk home? I mean, I can’t really do anything about it. I’m just going to have to fight through it.
I started down the sidewalk, with my head hurting so bad. I felt like I was going to faint at any moment. I’m pretty sure I looked like a zombie to anyone who looked at me and that sounds so embarrassing. But, no one cares about me. I don’t really have any friends. People really don't seem to notice me.
The only time I was really noticed was on my first day of Kindergarten. The teacher was taking rule and she called my name which was “Rice Morres”. People bullied me for the name for a while, but after that, no one knew who I was.
Anyway, I had finally made it to my house. I rung out the keys from my pocket and pulled myself into my abode.
I fell on the floor with a groan and fainted right then and there.
