The President of the United States doesn't know everything. He has years of experience in governing, but he doesn't have the wisdom to understand every issue the nation is facing or to discern what is right and wrong in every hard choice coming across his desk. So a wise president surrounds himself with wise counselors.
He'll consult experts in foreign policy, the military, economics, politics, and communication. He'll make the final decisions, but he will ensure that those decisions are informed by multiple advisory boards. In the same way that you need guidance from one wise friend or mentor, you'll also want to surround yourself with experts in the things that matter. Some will be wise in love.
Some in choosing a career. Some will offer wisdom in how to heal or how to let go. Ultimately, you'll make the final decisions, but be humble enough to shape those decisions through the wisdom that surrounds you.
