One day, my brother didn’t come to school for he was sick, but he promised to pick me up from school. He didn’t show up after the school was over.

I was waiting for him when a weird creature appeared out of nowhere. It was a person with the head of a Lion. I was getting Egypt vibes. I felt even weirder when he called out my name, “Rochelle, I am wholeheartedly overjoyed to meet you.”

“Nice way to say Hi.” I said. He held my hand. Was I going to be kidnapped? I was going to shout out loud. He asked me to close my eyes. I thought he might have some weapon so I insisted on doing what he said.

When I opened my eyes, I was in another world. The sky was pink, the clouds were heart shaped, the houses were like dollhouses and there were white roses everywhere. The Mr Egypt turned to me and said, “This is a society I made for teenagers, where abandoned but optimistic and talented teenagers live. This is made by me because I can’t see you all in stress in the other world. Usually, adults don’t respect you and your opinions. Use this chance to do something good.” Before I could say anything he disappeared. And I don’t think I was abandoned! I turned back to see a house with my name written on its name plate with some Emily. My own house! It was like a fairy tale. I buried my questions as saw a restaurant in my name with this Emily. Who was she? I owned a restaurant! Was Mr Egypt really a God? Who knows, but I thought I should enter the restaurant.

I entered to see a girl around my age standing next to the kitchen. She waved at me. I tried to wave back but I still had confusion of what was going on. She came towards me and said, “You might be Rochelle, I am Emily. A God-creature took me here and we are supposed to live and cook here together, forever!”

I was speechless. The only thing I was able to say was, “wow…” She burst out laughing for some reason and said, “I had the same reaction when I came here, it was last night though. I think we should ride around to meet more teenagers and to know the society better.” I insisted on following her. We both owned a bicycle which I was unaware of.
