The doctors were able to save Rachel just in time. Our teenage-police took the bearded man to the police station.
The first thing that Rachel asked after opening her eyes was, “Where is the man?” “Where he belongs, in jail.” Said I. Rachel looked disgusted, she yelled, “No!” We reached the police station, Rachel said to the police, “If we start locking up people in jail, what different are we from the adults? It will make us just like them.” The police-men, I mean police-boys, looked confused, “What are we supposed to do then?”
“Take him to a psychiatrist, we need to cure people rather than locking ’em up. Terrorists aren’t born terrorists, criminals aren’t born criminals, it is either the situations or the society that turns them into one, We need to help them instead of punishing them.” Everyone looked stunned. If I had some power I would’ve given this girl a Nobel peace prize, she was favouring the person who shot her a few minutes ago. The police-boys did as Rachel said. Ethan came out of nowhere to hug Rachel tight.
“Boy, you’re killing her.”, I said and we all laughed. Happy ending, is it? Not so fast.
