Alex opened his eyes. His head was ringing as he heard….Teo’s voice. It was inside his head again. Just like yesterday. 

He was left with a weird silence in his mind afterward. What……..does he want…..? 

Alex, pretty nonvoluntarily, got out of bed. He had to get out of the comfortable and warm blankets, for whatever reason regarding Teo. His feelings of confusion were intertwined with mild annoyance. Did he really need to wake me up?

Alex, with sleepy muscles, opened the window right by his bed. It was so much more difficult while being still half-asleep. 

“.....Teo?” He creaked out into the cold morning air. 

It took a solid second for Alex to focus his eyesight. Teo’s figure cleared up from a blurry blob to a human shape, standing in the meadow. He must’ve transformed just now, because his shirt was a little messed up, his neckline hanging from one of his shoulders. I'm so glad his transformation doesn't end with him naked.

He was looking up at him, a shy smile on his face.

“Sorry I woke you up…” He said and stepped a little closer.  “Can we go out..?”

“I mean….go somewhere to hang out…” He corrected himself after a few seconds. He looked somewhat flustered.

…..that’s it?

Alex’s mind actually paused for a second. 

“........okay?” Did he really wake me up just for this? Is he a morning bird type of guy?

“....uh, I’ll have to change or something then….” 

“Oh! Yeah…….then, I’ll wait for you…” Teo’s voice faded into an awkward silence. 

“Alright..”

Alex slowly closed the window to escape the situation. He turned around to face the entirety of his room, and an unfamiliar, strange feeling set over him. ……I should prepare then…..

His cheeks, and pretty much the rest of his face, started instantly feeling hot. What the…? His heart beat so fast, like never before.

He cupped his cheeks, hopeless. Why is this happening..?

Alex cursed himself. What are these confusing feelings?

Teo was sitting on the porch while Alex opened the door. He was looking out to the open space and turned around when he heard him approach. He stood up. 

“....your clothes are pretty.” Teo said. It made Alex look down at the outfit he picked out. Just a pair of baggy skater pants and a zip-up hoodie, really nothing special. 

“....yeah, thanks…” Alex didn’t really know how to respond. He went around Teo and put his hands in his pockets. He turned around to take a look at him. “......so, where are we going?”

Alex turned around and heard Teo walk behind him. He felt his face warm up again. Why’s everything so embarrassing now? Fuck.

He caught up to him and started walking next to him. 

“Me and Selina discovered a pretty place not too far from here. I thought……” He paused. “That…uh, we could take a walk?” 

“I’ll have to leave soon, uh…..it’s the full moon….” He looked at the ground. “You know about these kinds of things too, right?” 

“....oh.” So that’s true about werewolves too, huh.  “Yeah, I know.”

I wonder how the ‘feral’ form looks…..maybe-

“I wanted us to get to know each other more before that, so……” He saw Teo fiddle with his fingers. His face looked tense, too.

“Yeah, okay.” 

Alex kept looking at the ground ahead of him. It was enough for him to make him feel strangely flustered by just seeing Teo’s legs in his peripheral vision. …..what’s happening…to me?

 He was already tired of his heart beating so fast.
