As they reached, Johnny asked, “I never thought you were a girl. I mean, are there any other things you kept secret? I mean I am pretty curious to know you. Please, if you’re comfortable.” The girl took a deep breath and then replied, “My name is Sarah Dahmmer. I was six when my parents died fighting, against the cruel sheriff. I don’t remember much about my younger brother and sister. The Last time I saw both of them when we were running away from the cowboys, I don’t even know where are they, alive or dead, maybe killed by the cowboys. They hated me because my mother once took me to the witch who lives in the valley, she gave me to a dark spirit who will protect me and in return, she wanted my body, my control and I wasn’t eager. I never took its help, I always lived with it and am living with it always screaming inside my head for the control of my conscience. I too hated myself for I can come in its control anytime like I did today. I was alone. I kept running from the sheriff. Once I was caught by the cowboys, but before they could knock me down, I was saved by a man unknown to me, I didn’t know why he saved me. He trained me till I was eleven. One day, I was on the street, listening to his conversation with another man. He said that he was training me because he wanted to make me a cowboy. That day I realised he just wanted me to be a slave to the sheriff, unlike my parents. It was no chance that I was doing it, I ran away. It was finally at that time that I am completing the pending task of my parents for good. So, this is me in front of you at the age of fourteen, fighting. By the way, what’s your name brave young one?” The boy was standing stunned after Sarah completed. He said, “I-I’m Jared.” He said this and went into another room in great rage. Johnny felt weird, so he followed him and asked, “Hey, is there a problem?” Jared said, “You know all the story she told, was a complete lie. I’m her brother Max. She took the dark spirit in the greed of power. She killed our parents for power, she hated her twin sister and me. She would’ve killed us that day but the cowboys arrived. We ran and were separated. She’ll betray us one day. She is evil and I feel we should either run away or kill her.” Max's words did not affect Johnny. He said, “Everything you told, doesn’t matter to me. This maybe is her past, but I know, she is not a criminal and I trust her. If you want to leave you surely can.” He left saying this. Max of course was not overly moved by Johnny’s speech but he decided to stay.
