I awoke from the weirdest dream ever.

All I remember is being confused and having to keep a secret or it could probably cost me my life! 

"Hey, sleepyhead," a voice says sweetly from my door.

"Hey, you're up early?" I reply stretching my arms, confused as to why Sasha is up so early.

"Duh, remember your mum bought pancakes" she replies.

"ahh shoot, is there any left or am I too late?" I ask. 

"I'm sorry to report this but, you've lost out on the pancakes" she replies in an amused tone. 

"ahhh, why just why," I say emphasizing the why each time for an overly dramatic effect.

"Because you slept in" she replies, failing at withholding her laugh.

"Wait a minute, why are you all dressed up, it's still really early," I say with a tinge of confusion in my voice.

"I know but it's the start of our holiday so I wanna do some things first before I get lazy and sink into watching Netflix and then next thing you know, it's school" she replies lamely.

"ahh, so you wanna make this holiday count before school gets chaotic again, and then you don't wanna feel like you did nothing fun for your holidays" I reply, almost certain I guessed correctly. 

"Exactly" she replies energetically. 

"So then where were you planning on going," I ask, curious in knowing where I'm gonna be dragged to go. 

"Well I wanted to go to the park and we could have a small picnic, swing and read some of our books and maybe play 'soccer' " she answers happily.

"Sounds fun, I'm in," I say eager to go to the park.

"Well I'd hope that you were gonna be in from the start or else that would have been awkward and not so fun for me" she replies sheepishly with a smile on her face. 

"Well, then you should be glad I've decided to join you," I say jokingly.

"Come on get ready I wanna get on with this wonderful day," she says, clearly too eager to get on with this, she's like a small child excited to see a puppy.

"Hold your horses, the day isn't gone yet and I'm getting ready, I'll be five minutes in the shower and I already have my clothes out to wear, it's a light pink crop top and a black pair of shorts with my black vans," I reply assertively yet in a calm manner.

"Okay cool, I'll meet you downstairs and I'm glad we're matching today, just like sisters, except I'm wearing a blue crop top" she states before heading out to wait for me in the living room. 

"Okay cool," I reply, just before she closes the door.

After yesterday's game, I couldn't stop thinking about that girl I bumped into, twice!

Obviously, I didn't do it on purpose but what are the odds...

My thoughts are interrupted by my best friend Luke, as he nudges me in my right arm trying to get my attention.

"Hey, you're still thinking about that girl aren't you?" he says in a teasing manner.

"Dude I can't get her out of my head, you know nobody has ever spoken to me like that, let alone not fall head over heels for me" I reply, shocked by yesterday's interactions. 

"Well now you've found someone," he says laughing uncontrollably, clearly thinking this is a huge joke.

"haha very funny," I say sarcastically.

"Dude just get your mind off her and focus on this game, look we're losing now, and you've hardly gotten any kills!" he says, clearly growing annoyed with me.

"ok ok chill dude, I've got my head in the game, we'll survive just gotta kill all the zombies before they kill us" I calmly say whilst working on a strategy on how to get out of this alive.

"Hey after this or like maybe 5 more rounds you wanna go to the park and play ball" he suggests, while we're in a horde of zombies nearly dead.

"Sure, plus it will be good if we're not staring at the screen 24/7 and go outside and get some fresh air," I say, my eyes feeling the pain after playing this for who knows how long.
