Now it was her turn to quirk a brow at him. She was going to say something, but decided it was something for him to look up instead. 'I wish I could see the look on his face when he looks it up. Hehehehe~' 

"you called it a honeymoon?" He asked so he could remember to look it up after the date. 

Sunny chuckled. "Affirmative, my king~." She then pointed to the envelope, "THAT was addressed by someone in cloaked garments in the middle of the night while we were locking up. They said to give it to a Monster of great importance. I, at the time, had no clue as to what they meant. But now that I'm with you... I can't find a monster more important~." 

He was caught between wanting to kiss the hell out of her or seeing what Lux had to say. He compromised by pulling her close with a tentacle while reading the contents within the letter.

Sunny yelped as she was pulled to his chest from around the table to his side. 

His phalanges thrummed rhythmically against the table as he thought, smiling. "it seems i have yet another ally against that gang... the venom fists." He muttered, mostly to himself. 

"Excuse me?" Sunny innocently asks but secretly she heard him and was cheering on the inside.

He shifted her to be on his lap. "i do not know if you have heard, but the venom fists gang had my brother poisoned, and i do not take kindly to the people i care about being harmed.." He hugged her firmly. "i know i can trust you with this information, that is why i'm explaining it to you. i've allied myself with an assassin and now this thief to get rid of them once and for all. i won't stand for them to harm anyone else i care for." 

Sunny smiled happily. "You can trust me on that. I won't speak a word of this to anyone..." she leaned close to right beside his face and whispered, "And I hope we get to know MORE about each other soon as well~." She cooed.

He decided to hide his face in the crook of her neck to hide the growing blush. Was it too soon to kiss her? He felt he could trust her with anything, like he'd known her for years.. Well he did, but this was only their second meeting. 

Sunny looked around and was glad that other people were paying attention to their meals. And that they were in the back corner booth. Because she tapped him and made him look up at her. She cradled his skull in her hands while she gazed at him lovingly. "You know, I've dreamt of this with you for as long as when we first met. I am yours. My king~." She softly told him in her hushed voice so that only he heard. 

Screw it, he was kissing her. He cupped her face and tenderly pressed his teeth to her soft lips. To him, it was heaven. 

She kissed him gently at first and started to deepen it slightly and slowly started her make out with him. It lasted for about two minutes. But for Nightmare it was centuries.

He enjoyed every second of it, not realizing how much he'd actually wanted this. This sort of affection. He'd always thought it wasn't for him, but right here, right now, this was EXACTLY what he needed. Best part was that it was with Sunny, the sweet girl that he adored with every inch of his being. 

Nightmare's attention was drawn to the clock overhead. He had to leave to tell the boys about the situation. And give Dream his forgotten lunch before midnight and track down the location.

Reluctantly, he pushed away. "i must go... shall we pick this up another time?" He inquired. 

Sunny looked at him lovingly and pecked him on the teeth. "Definitely~ and maybe we could choose a more... PRIVATE setting~" she whispered to him while scratching his chin.

He nearly purred like a cat. "c-can i have a grilled cheese to go? it's for dream."

She giggled. "Of course! He must be glad about getting actual food after the incident." She gave him a long kiss on his teeth, got up from his lap, and pecked the top of his skull and promptly left to get the containers for the ginormous sandwiches. Even a huge take out cup for the apple juice. She guessed that it was important to him. As soon as she entered the kitchen not only Meredith but the entire kitchen staff SURROUNDED her and started to ask multiple questions.

"WAS THAT THE KING?"

"When did that happen?"

"I thought you were waiting on someone?"

"Guys, guys, back off!" Meredith barked. "How did it feel to kiss the gooptipus?" She proceeded to ask her own question. 

Sunny just laughed. "For all of your questions that relate to my relationship with him, Meredith can fill you in. But not too much." She gave Meredith a pointed glare.

She held up her hands. "Ok, ok, no juicy details. What about MY question?"

Sunny then glared at the kitchen staff and shooed them back to their stations. "I'll tell you as soon as you make a move on your end for your lover boy." She giggled at her pout as she gathered the required containers.

Meredith crossed her arms and stomped like a toddler. "No fair!"

"Life's not fair~." Sunny singsonged as she made it back to Nightmare's table. 

"thank you, sunshine~." He cooed, taking the boxes.

"Oooohhhh~ nicknames already~ Moonpie~?" She smiled as she gave him a peck on the cheekbone.

"m-moonpie..?" He blushed heavily. He really liked it. He was a bit curious as to if she came up with it on the fly or had been thinking about it for a long time..

Sunny smiled at him deviously. Him knowing that she had an idea on what to say to him next to make him a flustered mess.

"oh stars, what are you going to do or say?" He wasn't sure he wanted to know and prepared to teleport out of there. 

"Well first," she slid a piece of paper with a few numbers on it. "Here's my number, and..." she leaned into him like a kabedon and whispered, "Be sure that I'll be screaming your new name on our honeymoon~." She seductively purred.

He was slightly confused. What was a honeymoon? He'd have to look it up on the way home. He definitely took the number though. "Ttyl." He winked at her as he teleported out onto the streets. He wanted to stay longer... but he had important things to do. Should he tell Dream about his new relationship? He kinda wanted to save himself from that embarrassment and teasing.. 

Nightmare soon got home and called the boys to his brother's room. "here dream, got ya something." He gave Dream one of the containers and opened the other so he could eat his own forgotten sandwich. As he took a bite, and quickly finished because DAMN that was good, he looked up a honeymoon on his phone. He proceeded to become a cyan light bulb. ALL OF THAT HAD WENT OVER HIS HEAD?!

"uh.. boss, you ok?" Dust asked as the boys came in. He nodded, trying to compose himself as Dream gave him a concerned look. "you're not getting sick, are you?" 

"just eat the sandwich." He growled in an attempt to hide how high his voice probably sounded. "so as far as lux furem goes, i will be working with them to capture the venom fists gang. in return, i'll be getting the book back."

"a-a-and th-is wa-as ag-r-eed w-whe-en?" Error asked, wanting to know more about his boss's whereabouts. 

"when i was at my girl- a friend's diner!" He caught himself quickly, but not quick enough as EVERYONE stared at him. Oh shit. 

"g-girlfriend, brother?" Dream sputtered. 

"boss? with a girl?" Horror mused. 

"i didn't think you'd be the type to.. i don't know.. like anybody?" Ink muttered. Error crashed from shock. 

"I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU NIGHTMARE!!!!" Blue praised. 

Killer shrugged. "neat."

"that's a big deal, killer, you can't just say "neat"!" Dust argued. 

"i don't see how it's a big deal. he's got a girlfriend, yay." Killer replied.

"that's enough about that!" Nightmare snapped, unsure of whether to be happy or pissed at Killer's lack of enthusiasm. But then again, he was nearly emotionless. "yes, i have a girlfriend, and no she's not emo."

"damn it.." Dust mumbled as he paid Horror 25 G.

"she's not goth either." 

"damn it.." Horror paid Dust back his 25 G, having lost the bet they'd had made years ago. 

"what is she like then?" Dream asked. 

"uh.. not really the point, can we talk about my love life later? i've gotta go soon."

"you're leaving again?"

"gotta meet lux, dream." Nightmare pointed out, standing up from the bed. 

"... just be careful, ok?"

"worried about me? makes my soul feel all warm and fuzzy." Nightmare teased Dream, who crossed his arms. 

"of course i worry! they are a criminal!"

"don't forget that i can more than handle myself, dream. You should know better than anyone." With that, Nightmare left once more, to meet the infamous Lux Furem.
