After several hours, Sam G. Powell fell asleep. Ciroz and Cyroz also fell asleep, except for Analock who remained awake. As she lay there she thought about the events of the last few days. The three friends had found themselves stranded on an island without any idea of where they should go from there. And yet, despite their hardships, they still had faith in each other. Despite not knowing each other well, they knew exactly what needed to be done for them to succeed in finding their way back home. There were only two problems. One was to find a ship and two was to make sure that once they reached home they would be welcomed with open arms. Both of them were possible. After all, they were related. However, the fact was that Sam G. Powell was still new in their lives. What if they accidentally revealed something they shouldn't have and he told somebody else about what happened in the past?! What if he told someone they knew back in New York and told them who they were? They weren't ready to face those consequences. They had already caused enough pain and suffering. They could suffer more without causing another disaster. However, the three couldn't just hide in silence anymore. Not only were their parents murdered; but they also didn't really know what was happening to their families. It seemed like the entire universe was against them. Their only hope was their new friend.
When Analock woke up everyone was already up, even Ciroz.
"Good morning!" greeted Cyroz. "How did you sleep?"
"Good!" replied Analokia cheerfully.
Everyone started laughing quietly.
"You sound like you haven't been sleeping all night," commented Ciroz.
Analokia blushed slightly.
"I'm sorry. My mom has a strict rule that every evening when we eat dinner we must wake up early and go to bed right afterward!"
Sam G. Powell chuckled.
"We've seen some strange rules before. Come on, let's go get breakfast. Your mother wants to start talking about the trip right away," he said.
"Okay," agreed Analokia.
"Do you need help getting up?" asked Cyroz.
Analokia smiled.
"Don't mind, it's not a problem. You two just go ahead and prepare yourselves. I'll meet you in the garden."
With that she went out of the cottage and joined her family. Sammy G. Powell chuckled.
"Well that wasn't awkward."
"That's because she was embarrassed by her mom's rules, silly," stated Sammy G. Powell's wife.
"What if she says something embarrassing when meeting my dad, huh?"
"Then tell her she'll be fine and that you don't care," replied Cyroz.
Samson G. Powell nodded.
"You're right. Let's eat first, shall we?"
The group of friends ate breakfast together and eventually decided to return to the house to talk about what needed to be decided.
During breakfast, Analokia decided to start discussing with Sam G. Powell about the situation. She decided to use the same method she used to persuade Ciroz to talk to his brother about it, namely, by talking over the others to try to calm them. In case the boys overheard, she didn't want the topic to come up between the two of them. So she started her speech.
"Sammy, do you mind telling your brother and sister about the plan you suggested yesterday? About the journey we're going on."
"Sure," replied Sammy G. Powell. "Let's go back to our cottage."
They gathered their jackets and walked towards the cottage they shared with Cyroz and Analokia.
