I had finished the house tour by now. It didn’t really take long since my house isn’t that big. I also showed Valentine the room he would be staying in and my room.
“So what do we do now?” He asked. “Hmm…maybe we could get to know each other?” I suggested. He went quiet for a moment. “Sure…”
“Let’s play 20 questions!” I suggested. Valentine nodded and I guided him to the living room. We sat on the sofa next to each other. “Okay, I’ll ask the questions first,” I spoke, clearing my throat.
“What is your favorite color?” I asked simply.
“Red,” he answered.
“Ooh! Mine's blue. Next question. What’s your favorite time passer?”
“Hmm…I don’t know. Watching random videos I guess?” he chortled with a shrug. “Eh, I tend to stay away from any videos I find online…I’ve had very bad experiences doing so…” I shuddered.
Valentine snickered. “Ah, I see. You just found the bad side of the internet,” he spoke.
“Uh-huh…very bad. Anyways, next question! What is your favorite animal?” I queried. “Hmm…I kind of like dogs and wolves,” he replied. “Me too! Huskies are adorable and you can’t tell me otherwise.” I gasped.
“YES! HUSKIES ARE AMAZING~” Valentine spoke, clasping his hands together.
I asked a bunch more questions and we actually seemed to have a lot of common interests. After finishing the questions, we talked for a bit afterwards.
Nobody’s POV:
Rice checked the time on his watch. “Oh my goodness it’s so late! I’m going to throw my sleep schedule off track! I have school tomorrow…gosh darn…guess I'm missing another day...” he spoke, hopping up. “So we are going to bed?” Valentine asked, slowly getting up after him.
“Yeah, I am,” Rice spoke, heading towards the stairs with Valentine following close behind. Rice gave him some clothes to wear to bed, wished the man goodnight, and got in his bed.
After less than a minute, there was a knock at the door. “Come in!” Rice said aloud, not asleep anyways. Valentine was standing there looking dumbfounded. “How come I can hold the clothes you gave me?” he asked.
Rice tilted his head, confused for a moment. He forgot that Valentine was somewhat of a ghost. He also had to ask him about that. What exactly was he?
“Oh-hmm. That’s odd. Maybe–wait a second…” Rice got up. “Here, touch my lamp,” Rice said, pointing his finger to the object. Valentine walked over curiously and touched the object. Except, his hand phased through it like it was a liquid.
Rice then proceeded to touch the object then gestured for the other man to do the same. Once Valentine touched it–well, he touched it. He ACTUALLY touched it.
