“Happy birthday bestie” I hear Sasha’s voice shouting from the entranceway just as I walk into school and as I get closer, I can see her face beaming showing off her pearly white teeth.

As I reach her before I can even say anything she hands me my birthday gift she got me, it’s wrapped in a small rectangular box, colored with blue and gold, and to top it off a small blue bow on it.

As I begin to open the gift, I smile at her sweetly, so happy with what she’s gotten me, “oh my gosh it's amazing, you shouldn't have.” I smile gleefully, finally being able to see its full beauty, as I take out the sterling necklace, holding the crescent moon in place as it sparkles in the sun.

“See, I got you the crescent moon necklace, I know you love the ocean and the sky, so I got you it, I knew you'd love it instantaneously.” She says happily knowing she got me the best birthday gift ever!

“Of course I love it!!!” I say with so much happiness escaping from my heart and into my words.

“Plus now it can match with the moon necklace you got me, so when we put it together it's a full moon,” she says excitedly.

“Awww thank you soo much you're the best...” I reply, reaching out to her to give her my biggest bear hug ever, almost astonished with how much thought she always puts into any gift she gets me, I’m truly lucky to have her as my best friend, let alone call her my sister.
