(Hayden's pov)
Another boring day at school, I literally can't wait for training today, and that tells you something because we're doing suicides and I hate those workouts.
Although knowing my team and I are gonna play a match very soon does get my adrenaline pumping.
“Hey, dude what’s up, you ready for next-next week's game?” Luke asks as he walks up to my locker.
“Sure am, are you ready though,” I ask, whilst taking out the books I need for my next class.
“Obviously, we've beaten them before,” he says, overly confident for the next game we have.
“That's just by 1 point, we can't let them get so close to winning,” I tell him seriously, just because I don’t want him to feel like we already have this in the bag, because we still have to put in the work to try and be even better and I don’t want us slacking.
“Chill man, with you on our side, the only team winning, is us,” he says, as we enter our class and take our seats ending our conversation, seeing as the lesson is about to begin.
