(Anastasia's pov)
Gosh, this day feels so much longer and we're only in registration!
The only thing that made me really happy today was Sasha and her giving me such a sentimental gift, she's honestly like my sister, and she's been family from the start of our friendship.
I snap out of my thoughts as I see a new person enter the classroom, well it looks like we have a new student transferred.
Mr. Weasely looks to be standing next to a tall brunette guy, mmh he seems to be athletic, I wonder what sports he's gonna want to play here.
Oh no, he's approaching me, why did sir tell him to come to sit next to me?! There's an ample amount of space in front, okay well I know there are students absent, but still!
“Hi’’ he greets me with a smirk plastered on his face, ‘’ looks like I'm your registration buddy,” he says politely.
“Looks like it,” I reply in the same tone as him.
“My name is Peter,” He says as he takes a seat next to me.
“Oh well then, hi Peter,” I say, greeting him, not really sure if I wanna say my name.
“Haha, isn't this the part where you tell me your name,” he says with a small laugh.
“Well, I don't know, it doesn't seem to be a rule though but do you wanna know my name,” I say teasingly, already seeing him get a bit nervous, making me want to laugh at how cute it is that he’s getting so nervous over my statement.
“I'd like to,” he says sheepishly.
“Well since you're such a gentleman, my name's Anastasia,” I reply confidently.
“Oh wow, that's a lovely name, it sounds so sweet.” He says giving me a compliment whilst at the same time sounding relieved that our conversation didn’t go awkward on his first day here.
I giggle a bit at his compliment, I mean it's cute.
“Well thank you,” I reply sweetly.
“My pleasure.” He says, almost as a sort of prince charming character.
“So, do you know your way around the school yet?” I ask, curious to see if he already has this place figured out or if he might need help.
“Well sort of, but don't worry I'm sure I'll be ok,” he says, trying to sound reassuring.
“Have you made any friends yet?” I ask, wanting to know if he’ll have anyone to hang out with during break.
“Nope not yet, but I'm hoping to, hey maybe you can be my friend?” he asks, in a hopeful tone.
“Maybe... I'm joking, sure I'll be your friend, you seem like a nice person.” I reply teasingly.
“Thank you” he replies in a boyish tone.
“So then, what sports are you gonna try out for?” I ask.
“What makes you think I'm gonna do a sport?” His face was now plastered with a smirk.
“Well am I wrong? Because firstly you look like the athletic type.” I stated confidently.
“Well, you weren't wrong, I'm gonna try out for the soccer team.” He says excitedly.
“Oh nice, I hope you get in,” I reply in a wishful tone.
“I hope so too.” a mixture of excitement and nervousness displayed in his voice.
“So you'll meet me in the cafeteria at lunch then?” I say as I start to get up and walk to my next class.
“Ok cool,” he says calmly as we part ways walking toward his next class.
