A week later on Zachary’s 9th birthday he rushed out of his room and ran down the stairs of his house full of excitement and with the added aroma of chocolate coming from the kitchen adding to his excitement. When he made it to the kitchen in his sights he saw a cake with chocolate frosting topped with candles.
His parents: surprise(they shouted)
Zachary: you guys
His mom: I know you always wanted a chocolate cake so I made you one with chocolate frosting
Zachary then hugged both his parents with all the happiness and joy he had and let go after a few moments. His mom then went and lit up the candles on the cake while motioning for Zachary to go towards the cake.
His mom: now why don’t you make a wish
And with a breath of air let out by Zachary the candles went out like how a cold breeze can turn off a candle within seconds. As night arose Zachary went outside of the house and noticed a flame form out the palm of his hand and he tried so desperately to wave it off of his hand and it flew off his hand hitting his house. Quickly forming a bigger flame which got bigger and bigger by the second. It was so fast Zachary couldn’t stop it no matter how hard he tried. Even the screams, yells, cracking and smell of smoke couldn’t make him strong enough to save them. He just stayed frozen watching as it happened, tears streaming down his face so fast he didn’t expect it. And when the bright light of the fire disappeared Zachary felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to meet their eyes.
Mysterious man: what’s a boy like you doing all alone
Zachary: don’t you see the burnt house I'm forever alone now
Mysterious man: well you can join me in the villain base if you would like
Zachary: really
Mysterious man: yes and I'm Aiden by the way
Zachary: I'm Zachary
They then shook hands as Zachary smiled, and his eyes glistened from the street light shining above them.
