The third option was incredibly different however even, so I went through my options carefully. If I really was getting a second life with a new beginning, I wasn’t going to become some, blabbering shy girl without the ability to help herself.
This was odd. Three of what seemed to be classes, each of a different rarity. “so my options are between the rare class berserker, the epic shaman and the legendary mage knight.
“so the berserker is a warrior that sacrifices intelligence, and defense for offensive potential, it also raises my level cap by 15. So, it would be 35.”
She thought for a moment before sighing. “it is a suicide class. Well maybe shaman is better. They appear to work by summoning spirits that protect them and fight for them, a epic rarity class.”
She looks to the golden tablet, with great curiosity. “Mage knight, a leader type class huh? Its main feature is its ability to buff itself or its allies. This might be just what I am looking for, a strong race and class! They will have to rely on me now!” without hesitation she presses the mage knight, suddenly clothes appear upon her body. They were ragged, much like olden day common folks clothing. However slightly modified, wielding a small wooden shield in her left hand and a short sword in a sheath on the same side. Metal plating covering her chest, hands, and legs, very minimalistic in its design.
She lets out a soft and exasperated sigh. “Am I done yet?” she asked, however fate was not that lenient. One last choice remained, a job. Much like an area of expertise however in this case randomized.
Infront of her were two options, one a blue screen with white text, the other purple with black text.
Ignoring her first option she goes immediately to her second. “So far the rarities have been worthwhile! So, it would make sense that this one is also just better!” she says as she grabs it without thinking.
“all right that should be everyth-“ she attempts to belch out however she was quickly stopped, by a blinding flash of light. She feels her body move once more, changing from its prior floating state to standing on her two feet once more. No longer floating in a void of darkness.
Her sense of vision slowly returned as she heard a loud and empowering voice speak to her.
“Ahhh yes, so this makes the 26th and final summon.” The masculine and powerful voice said.
Finally, her vision had returned fully. Before her stood 4 individuals fully clad in black and grey armor, their suits of armor representing something only seen in fantasy games. With their spiked shoulders, small slivers where one couldn’t even imagine that you would be able to see out of. The armors coloring was what Hikami found as specialy interesting, mainly a silverish grey with small black stripes running down the individual pieces of metal, almost like the swirl of wind.
However, the voice did not come from those nights, no. just a few feet in front of Hikami were three large Marple thrones, sitting on these thrones were three individuals, one male who was in the middle and a lady on each side.
“Welcome dear summons, as most of you know already I am the king of the silver kingdom, the kingdom that makes up nearly one third of this world’s population, my name is Eglath. To my left is my daughter Bella and my wife velvet.”
“so the source of that powerful voice was the king?! So this really is another world!” Hikami was going crazy, thinking about her current situation made her, excited.
Pulling herself together. “I better show some respect.” She thought as she would gently bow. Her body nearly trembling, however not from fear.
“I ask you, last of the summons, would you be so kind as to display your status window for everyone here to see so we can assign you a role in this kingdoms army.” His wording made it seem almost like a question, however Hikami could tell from his tone that she had no option in this matter.
Hikami nods. As she was about to speak up, however a sudden realization washed over her. “How do I make it appear? Is it as simple as just saying ‘status?’ maybe ‘display?’ “She asked herself.
“No I know the answer to this.” She thought as she opened her mouth.
“Display self!” were the words that came gushing out of her mouth, it felt so natural like it had been done thousands of times before. In that same moment the screen appeared. A purple video game like screen with a black outline. Much like the tabs she pressed earlier displayed all her information.
