With his hands pressed together in a prayer-like manner, Ryushin said, "May Numen be watching over you." After a few moments, the two Hunters awoke from their unconscious state.

Xy muttered, "Urgh...Where am I?" and Ryushin responded with a smile on his face, "Finally awoken?" With the help of his arms, Xy sat up straight and asked, "Did it actually work?"

Ryushin cautioned Xy that asking if the ritual worked was not as significant as experiencing the consequences of the marking. Xy wondered what Ryushin meant by this. “Is master doing the Marking’s Ritual?” Suda said putting her ears against the door, before noticing Emilia that was staring at her.

Xy agreed to undergo the ritual, and Ryushin instructed him to kneel and free himself from any thoughts. Ryushin placed his hands on Xy's head, and both of them entered a state similar to hypnagogia. Ryushin then commanded, “Reveal what lies beyond your skin!”

Zao exclaimed in shock, "Ryushi!" while wearing an expression of surprise on his face, as Suda forcefully pushed open the door and rushed to Ryushi's aid, gently placing him on the ground.

Xy, who had just woken up, was bewildered and unaware of the recent events. He saw Ryushi lying unconscious on the ground with Suda tending to him.

Xy was jolted awake, completely unaware of the events that had just transpired. The only thing he saw was Ryushi lying unconscious on the ground, with Suda holding him.

"Ryushi...?" Xy asked, still drowsy.

"XY, are you alright?!" Zao exclaimed.

"I'm fine, what happened?"

Suda shouted in anger, "Get out!" as she realized that both Xy and Zao were not to be trusted. She blamed them for the situation and could have prevented it.

"Xy, let's go," Zao said as he pulled Xy's arm, tears streaming down his face.

Xy was confused and wanted an explanation. However, Suda's aura filled the room as she threatened to fight them if they did not leave. The commotion attracted the attention of other students playing outside.

“Did you hear those rumblings?”

“Yeah! They came from master’s house!”

“Let’s go!”

Zao grabbed Xy by his arm, who was in complete confusion, so much so that he did not make any facial expression or noise.

As they walked through the hallway, they were met by a tall man dressed in similar attire as Suda, who had a serious expression on his face and held something hidden behind his back.

"Who are you, and what are the both of you doing in Ryushi's house?" the man questioned, his tone imposing and authoritative.
