May 22, 2015. Hong Kong.
Between 3:35 PM to
4:15 PM, a nurse named Ms. TONG
discovered a yellow Mini-Cooper
parked next to the
Sai O bus stop while she jogged on her day off.
The Mini-Cooper was
parked in a strange angle,
the hind wheels veered away from the
curb.
At the time, Ms. Tong did not experience any rain.
Yet,
the Mini Cooper’s windshield wipers were moving.
They slide
left and right on the screen, over and over.
Ms. Tong chanced to get a closer look. Approaching.
Inside the vehicle
were two females.
One was mature. One was young.
Both eyes
were shut as if asleep.
Lips parted as if snoring.
Their
heads tilted back,
in the chairs they sat.
Ms. Tong
had encountered this same Mini-Cooper
three times, within her 45
minute running lap
All three glances – the driver and
passenger never moved.
Not even a fidget.
The nurse knocked on their window.
Konk konk
konk
Konk konk
konk
...
.............
Three
minutes
later.
............................................Still no response.
Ms.
Tong immediately borrowed a phone
from people waiting at the bus
stop.
And dialed the emergency number.
The Hong Kong Police
and Firefighters arrived at the scene.
Roads were blocked off,
windows were drilled open.
Doors pulled back, stretches marched
over.
The driver and passenger were sent to the nearest
hospital.
...
Both women were dead
Long
before arrival.
