Ray- Sorry just lost in thought from what just happened

Teacher- Well Ray I’m gonna need you to sit down so that I can continue the lesson

Ray- Alright Teach

(Ray then sits down)

Ray- *in head* What just happened

(Flash over too lunch Ray is sitting down)

Ray- *in head* Wow this is the perfect chance to change my life for the better *thinks of Rex and Charmi* but I’ll have to leave him behind

(Rex comes and sits next to Ray)

Rex- Well Mr. Important seems you’ve become quite the celebrity 

Ray- What do you mean?

Rex- Look around you

(Ray does a scan of the cafeteria and sees people gossiping about him and others looking at him)

Ray- Oh I see what you mean *starts to eat lunch*

Rex- He man don’t let it go to your head *bites a carrot*

Ray- Heh what makes you think it would I’m still same old Ray

?-H-Hey Ray

(Ray looks behind him and sees Charmi with a lunch tray and a blush on her face walking over to him)

Ray- Hey Charmi

Charmi- Can I sit with you?

Ray- Su-

(Rex cuts Ray off)

Rex- *with a bush on his face* WHY YES YOU CAN I- I mean WE would love to have you sit here

Charmi- Great!

(She sits down beside Ray)

Charmi- So Ray how have you been taking the news about your proposal 

Ray- *grabs sandwich* Pretty well I’d say, it’s just a shock is all

Rex- You should have seen him he was lookin’ all dazed and out of it

Ray- Where were you anyways?

Charmi- I was in the restroom

Ray- Oh

Rex- To be honest Ray I don’t really like that Jarvis whatever ya call im guy, gives me bad vibes

Charmi- Rex has a point the higher ups don’t really like our kind so this does feel weird

Ray- I’ll just see what it’s about and if I don’t like it I’ll come back 

Charmi- Well if you do accept it then, I hope you do fine and make good decisions for yourself

Ray- Thanks Charmi

(Eating in silence)

Charmi- Oh Ray I’ve been wondering what’s up with your hair

Ray- What do you mean?

Charmi- Well it looks very strange to me it almost looks like giant pipes *she says looking at his hair* can I touch it

Ray- Ummm…Sure

(Charmi starts to feel one of his Dreads)

Charmi- *fascinated* It’s like a bunch of tiny hairs intertwined to make a larger piece

Ray- That's basically what it is *notices she's been touching it for a while* uh Charmi 

Charmi- *embarrassed/blush* Oh sorry

Ray- It’s alright

Rex- Hey Charmi why don’t you touch my hair too

Charmi- You know why I don’t because It’s basically like mine just straight

Rex- But mine stands on end

Charmi- I know Rex, I can see

Ray- *giggling*

Rex- *smirking* What are you laughing about?

Ray- You guys bickering back and forth is like and old married couple

Rex/Charmi- Really?!/ EW!

(Rex turns to stone, RIP in the chat boys)

Rex-  *clutching his chest* Charmi, your words, they cut so deep, I might die

Charmi- Sorry Rex it just caught me off guard is all

Ray- *trying to change the subject* So Rex am I still able to come over to your house later today

Rex- *still on the floor/sounds like he’s dying while giving a thumbs up* Sure man, just give me time to revive

Charmi- Well Ray I hope you come to a decision soon but not too soon Ok

Ray- Ok see ya Charmi

Charmi- *blush* See ya Ray

(It’s the afternoon, Ray and Rex are on their way to Rex’s house)

Ray- *looks at Rex* I wonder what your home is like

Rex- It's nothing much but what it lacks in substance it makes up for with personality *eyes closed pointing finger up*

Ray- *rolling his eyes* Whatever you say

(flash forward to Rex’s house)

Ray- *in head* I didn’t know he lived so close to the school

(Rex knocks on the door)

Rex- Fiesta

(It goes quite, then while Ray isn’t looking, he’s dragged into the dark house)

Ray- Yo Rex what’s happening 

Rex and the rest of his family- SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!

(The light turns on and Ray is greeted with Rex and his family with food and yelling SURPRISE at him)
