S.G. William- I heard there’s a rat in our coffers *shows his eye* so let’s flush it out

(Ends on Ray looking out the windows of his school)

(Ray is barely paying attention because he’s remembering something)

(Flashback: 

Ray- You know, I’m in the mood for some meat let’s see what I got *opens cupboard* ah shit I forgot, that dog ate most of it, looks like I’m gonna need to go on another supply run *thinks for a moment* gotta be careful though don’t want what happened last time

(Ray is still in thought)

Teacher- Ray could you read this question

(Ray doesn’t hear him as he is still lost in thought)

Teacher- Ray!

(Ray still doesn’t hear him)

Teacher- Ray!!

(Ray finally snaps out of it)

Ray- Huh, uh, yeah

Teacher- Just because you may have been recommended by Sir Jarvis to attend his school, that doesn’t mean you're too important to pay attention in class you understand

Ray- *embarrassed* Sorry teach just thinking about my life

Teach- Well you’ll have plenty of time to do that later right now you need to be able to solve these questions 

Ray- Yeah, Yeah I get it *sigh*

(at lunch Ray is still spacing out then Rex brings him back to reality)

Rex- Yo Ray

Ray- *jazzed up* Oh uh yeah

Rex- *concerned* You okay man, you’ve been spacing out a lot lately 

Ray- Just some stuff on my mind lately 

Rex- *sits down across from Ray* Oh is that promotion going to your head 

Ray- Hey I told you it wouldn’t

Rex- Seems like it is *takes a bit of his sandwich*

(Ray looks down sad)

Rex- *reaches over the table and pats Ray on the shoulder* Hey man think about it, if you take up that promotion you’ll probably be the first Denizen to be able to get to a sick ass school

Ray- Guess your right about that

Rex- Course I am *smiles*

Ray- *smiles to himself* Yeah

(The school day ends, Ray is going to walk home by himself and get some sleep for his next food run)

Rex- Hey man why don’t don’t I come see where you live

Ray- Nah not today man I need to get some sleep, I feel exhausted

Rex- Really dude it’s not like we’ve done that much all day

Ray- *stretching* Guess I must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today

Ray- Sure

(Ray then makes his way home)

Ray- Hey Rafiki I’m home

(Rafiki wakes up and walks over to Ray rubbing his leg)

Ray- Good to see you too boy

(Ray then goes to the cupboard and feeds Rafiki the remaining meat he has)

Ray- Here you go boy I’ll be making another food run tonight so just eat it

(Rafiki then sits and eats the remaining meat)

(Hours pass by and we see Ray suiting up for his next run)

Ray- *whispering* I’ll be back Rafiki

(Ray then looks out at the slums and toward the storage warehouses)

Ray- *takes deep breath* Here I go

(We then cut to S.G. William)

S.G. William- Well sis how’s about you just sit back and watch while I catch this “Vagrant” you seem to be having trouble with

S.G. Lerena- What makes you think he’ll come tonight 

S.G. William- He probably wasn’t able to get enough supplies to last him that long *taps his watch* from what I’m seeing his bag does look pretty full but he has also been known to steal books to so it could be that, so if my hypothesis is correct he should come back tonight for more food or other items if he’s desperate

S.G. Lerena- There you go over thinking it 

S.G. William- Oh I’m sorry, was I the one who let this fucker get away with the stuff I was in charge of 

(S.G. Lerena looks away from him because she knows he’s right)

S.G. William- and to think this person has been doing this for 2 years and manage to successfully go under your nose for 3 quarters of that time, he must be a really good thief

(S.G. William looks at S.G. Lerena)

S.G. William- Or your just fuckin stupid *he says with an unamused face*

S.G. Lerena- Just focus on the task at hand brother we have 3 months to complete this objective or father with intervene personally

S.G. William- Oh please *shows all of the lights and new guards he’s placed around the facilities* I only need 1
