Yunseo's POV

"Rowoon..." I whispered his name.

"Aye...that is my name," he said while chuckling deeply, his smirk widening.

"Why did you drug me?! How dare you drug me and bring me to this weird mansion of yours! You abducted me you know...as if you're not weird enough you pervert. I want to leave so, let me leave this instant!" I commanded, his silence setting me on edge.

He laughed, louder this time and I tried to stay confident by straightening myself and looking him in the eye.

I hid my hands behind my back because they were trembling nervously.

"Well, you see, I can't let you leave. If I do, you'll die. I saved your life back there...on the bridge. That man was after you, little rabbit. He was going to kill you."

"Stop calling me 'Little Rabbit' okay?!" I shouted at Rowoon, my anger and fear besting me.

"You know I can't do that. You are a cute little rabbit so hence, that is what I'll call you."

I mustered my courage as I watched him shrug away from the balcony door and advance towards me leisurely. As he drew closer, I became aware of our difference in stature. He was over six feet tall and I had to raise my head in order to look at his face. His arms slammed into the railing behind me, trapping me in between the railing and his hard body. I swallowed and stared into his silver eyes as a smirk crept into his lips like the talons of a curse.

"Stay back Rowoon," I said while straightening myself: a useless attempt that I thought would make me appear taller.

"Ohh. Now that's a first. I have never heard someone say my name with such anger and contempt. Nobody dares to use such a tone like you. So interesting," Rowoon said with a grin. I wish I could wipe that stupid grin off his face with a good punch...but my fist was not powerful enough to do that.

"There's nothing interesting..." I say instead.

"But I find YOU interesting."

"Oh really?"

"Yes. Really."

"Well then, if you find me interesting, please grant me this small request. LET ME LEAVE."

"I am only trying to protect you. I will let you leave when the time's right. When danger is not lurking in every corner." Rowoon's slender fingers captured a lock of my hair. His fingers caressed it before he bent and placed a kiss on my forehead. Even though I couldn't see his eyes, I felt his gaze, staring hungrily down at me.

"Stay away from me. I don't want you touching me or kissing me..." I tried to make my voice sound strong but it only came out as a whisper.

"Oh please. I am not such a person. I won't go that far and I would never stoop so low as to violate you. I'm not a rap**t. I only sleep with someone who fully desires me. I have many admirers, so finding someone to sleep with every night is not that hard," even though Rowoon's words filled me with some relief, another unknown feeling started to burn within me. It was bitter and unpleasant...I didn't like it at all. Maybe it was just fear.

"You need to go back inside," Rowoon's voice brought me back from my thoughts. I shook my head and looked at the balcony door.

"I don't want to stay in that room. It's too red."

"Then...you can stay in my room."

"Your room?! No way! I don't wanna be anywhere near your room," I say a little too loudly.

"Oh, we won't be sharing it so don't worry. I'm off on a business trip with my father for the next few days so the room is all yours. I leave today and I will be gone for a week or two. Try not to cause any trouble while I'm gone okay?" Rowoon's deep voice made everything that he said sound very cool and elite. He was probably going off for some special mafia clan meeting or for some illegal business. Calling Rowoon a mafia prince sounded so unreal considering the fact that he's a famous idol singer. But his visuals do add up to the image of a vile mob leader. He has the eyes of a dangerous monster and the face of a dark angel. His body is full of muscle and strength. Rowoon's overall image would definitely resemble Hades.  A dangerous incarnate who could easily turn the world into chaos.

I should be happy to be alone and away from him. And by the time he returns, I might even be gone and I won't ever see his vile face again. I will hatch a plan to escape this hellhole before it consumes me. All I need is a plan and the wits to handle danger. 

"What are you thinking about? Are you already missing me?"

Rowoon's sudden question took me by surprise and I had to blink twice to realize that I have been zoning out for a while. "In your dreams Rowoon! I will never miss you. I HATE YOU."

"Understood," that's all he says and I weakly follow him as he leads me into his bedroom. We walk down the same spiraling staircases again and pass the familiar hallways. By the time we're back in his unrealistically luxurious room, I sit on his bed, not caring about what Rowoon might think. I'm just too tired and too weak and all I wanna do is sleep and never wake up. That's what experiencing trauma does to you. Your brain just wants to shut down and rest...expecting to restart the new day by wiping out the angst and stress.

"I'm gonna get changed. I have a flight leaving for Italy in a few hours," Rowoon says.

"Okay," I weakly reply, my eyes locked on his beautiful silky robe. 

With one swift move, Rowoon untied the knot of the robe and it fell down, exposing his muscular chest and hip bones. I couldn't take my eyes away from his gorgeous body. My cheeks were flaming hot but I still looked at him. His wide arms were swirling with so much muscle. And his abs were perfect. They looked like they were carved by an artist. His body was hard and lean. The tattoos etched on his skin were beautiful and dark. If Rowoon was a fallen angel, then the tattoos were his black ravenous wings, helping him to fly higher and higher into the stormy skies.

 I recognized the tattoo of the rose on his forearm...it was a very tantalizing element and a vision that would be engraved in my memory forever.

 My eyes didn't stop scanning him. They reached Rowoon's waist...his hip bones formed a strong V: a feature only the sexiest men in workout magazines had. I could imagine the way my smooth legs would wrap around his hips as he pounded into me...

Hold on... What the actual f**k was I thinking? Oh no no. Oh, sweet spirits of purity have mercy on me! I was having lustful thoughts over a man. A Very Cruel Man. And it was worse...he was my captor and my enemy. As if struck by lightning, I stopped looking at Rowoon and collapsed onto the bed, curling on myself and pretending to be asleep. My whole body was hot and my cheeks were probably blood red. I closed my eyes hoping that Rowoon didn't see me, hoping that he didn't see my lusty eyes.

I counted the seconds into minutes in my head. Rowoon didn't say anything. I could feel him walking about the room, dressing himself up. The doors of his closet opened more than once but I still didn't open my eyes. I was filled with shame and anger. Anger for wanting to feel his body on mine and for having such carnal thoughts towards my only enemy. I continued counting the minutes and tried so hard to drown the sound of my loud heart.

 I only opened my eyes when I heard the bedroom door close with a sudden thump. 

But I still didn't rise from the bed, terrified he might return again.

I breathed into the silence, surrounded by the golden light of the chandelier and the loneliness of the night.

It was just me and my intrusive thoughts. 

I closed my eyes, hoping I wouldn't dream of Rowoon. I bit my lip, trying to ignore the heat growing between my legs. My body was too hot. I prayed that I would be able to survive the night without having any feverish dreams. Because such dreams would burn me up with a heat that is too hot to handle.
