Both boys look at the blushing girl a moment before Blake reacts. "Well, that's good because we would like to try dating you as well. Isn't that right, Dewdrop?" Dewi nods happily, obviously stunned by the sudden confession.
"....you.... you would?" She was more stunned than anything. Bee was carefully peeking out behind her.
"Of course, G. If I'm going to share my Dewdrop with anyone, I'd want it to be you... I really like you and it's clear Dew has a crush on you too... I mean, I'm the only other one that can make him blush so easily. You're just so cute."
She turned pink herself. "....only you guys think that..." Bee went up and tried to wrap her trunk around them both.
For once, Blake ignores Bee, pulling Greer into a hug instead. "It's fine as long as there's not skin contact, right?"
"..yeah... it is." She carefully hugged back. Bee starts to push Dewi over as well. After enjoying hugs and such, not to mention dinner, Greer sat down with the guys and looked at them. "How.... does this work exactly? Do we only do dates together? Separate? Alternating tuesdays?" Bee was plopping down at their feet looking happy. Greer looked. "...I feel like I should tell her to go for a while since this is kinda serious talk..."
"It's your call if she stays or goes... I mean, as a manifestation created by you that acts upon your wants, she's sorta like a part of you."
"... if we ever start kissing and stuff she's gonna go away..."
"Maybe... Have you ever checked if something you created actually disappeared once you switched powers?"
"Um well the time I had fire powers it didn't but I don't think the tree I set on fire counted really.... The agent was REALLY glad he had brought an intern that day."
"Well, I'm not suggesting we test it out now, but there's a chance that you don't need the power to maintain Bee, just to create her... The question at hand, though, was if you want her around during 'serious talk'...."
"Bee...go." Bee looked at Greer stubbornly. The staring contest went on a moment before Bee walked off, stomping a bit to Greer's room. ".... yeah that's my brain alright... so um... how... is this gonna work?" She looked between them.
"Well, a combination of group and separate dates would probably be best. The important thing is going to be making sure no one feels excluded and everyone is comfortable. Keeping that in mind, it's going to be very important that you speak up if you feel left out or uncomfortable in a situation... Communication is going to be key on all our parts. We speak up about things we do and don't like, and we properly listen when someone tells us something. And we should try to deal with issues as they come up instead of letting them fester... That doesn't mean we can't take some time to cool down or put a pause on solving it if needed, but we shouldn't wait more than 24 hours before at least trying to find a solution that everyone can agree on."
Greer nodded a bit. "...My... family yells a lot... where there's issues. I do too. I... can't promise I won't yell."
"That's okay... on the condition that if it's a fight, you're not ignoring what the other person has to say. Even if you end up having to cool down before you can acknowledge the other person's points, both party's feelings should be taken into consideration."
"I listen... I just get mad. I guess..."
"Then it shouldn't be a problem."
"I...haven't dated much. What kinds of.. things will we be doing?"
"That depends on everyone's comfort level and what we want to do... So, tell us, Greer... what do you want dating us to look like? Do you want to go out on dates all the time? spend hours cuddling? frequently be getting each other gifts just because? work together on a common project like taking over the world? Let's hear your desires in terms of this relationship."
She ran her fingers through her hair, seeming to struggle with this a bit. Was it she thought something was embarrassing? She was nervous they'd say no? She looked at her knees. "To... not... be told I look like a guy?"
"Well, that's easy since you don't... At least we don't think you do... Anything else, Princess? Is there anything you want to get out of dating us or something you want to do that you didn't think you could when we weren't dating?"
"I... don't know... I .. didn't think that far. Dates and stuff... maybe some movies... I... don't like lots of gifts really..." What did she want? "...for you to love me too?"
Dewi pulls her into a hug. "Noted, noted, noted, and done... Since you mentioned you don't like a lot of gifts, what kind of things make you feel really loved?"
"I mean I dunno... I like going to the woods... doin' stuff. I like working out..." She blushed. "I like watching you guys work...."
"While your appreciation of watching us work out is highly noted, Dewi was asking for specifics about your love languages. Even without much romantic experiences, surely you have some ideas of things that cause you to feel like you are loved. It might even be based on things your parents do to show you that they love and care about you... So what can we do to make sure you know how much we love you?"
She leaned on Dewi carefully. "I dunno... we always had traditions in our family. I just... did stuff with them. Like, gather things to help Ma cook things for us and the others... or work on cars with dad. I'd go make and fix things for Auntie... she had nerves real bad and had trouble leaving the house. Sometimes I'd whittle things for people I liked... but they didn't always appreciate that. Just... doin' stuff and bein' with you I guess. Lemme help out some. If I can."
"Done and done... I guess it's your turn if you have any questions, G..."
"I... guess the same back. I dunno what else to ask you didn't...."
"Well... we both also value spending quality time with those we like. In addition, Dewi adores cuddles and pats. And he has a sweet tooth so cookies are a great 'thinking of you even when we can't cuddle' gift or when wanting to do something extra special. Not going to lie, I pick up a pack whenever I might be in the wrong..." "Blake's likes are harder to pick up on and explain. Simply, he wants attention from people he likes, but it's more complicated than that. He enjoys giving attention as much as getting it so he feels most loved when both are happening."
Greer nodded taking all this in. "Ok... I can do that. I think so anyway. Is there anything I shouldn't do? I.. I can try at least..."
Dewi holds her tighter as if in anticipation of Blake's response. "I would say be careful about criticizing Dewi's appearance, but I don't think I'll have to worry about that with you. You don't seem like the type to make negative comments about someone you care about... So, I guess, don't hide stuff from us. At least, not the important things... If something one of us says or does makes you uncomfortable, we want to know about it right away so we don't do it again. We care about you so hurting you is something we want to avoid doing, even on accident..."
She let him. Greer didn't mind.Instead she closed her eyes. "Anyone who's say stuff about Dewi can get punched in the face. He looked great in any form. And Ma says I'm fast to say shit so... I don't think I'll hide anything on purpose... I'll try at least. Promise." She paused for a moment. "...I don't like two piece swimsuits. So don't ask me to wear one I guess."
"Okay, we won't." Dewi pauses a moment before his voice gets a smidge teasing. "I can still wear them, though, right?"
Greer looked confused. She hadn't seen female Dewi yet. "I.... guess? I just don't wear them. Don't think I've seen a guy wear a two piece before."
"G, Love, he's talking about physically turning female to wear a bikini... Over half his closest is female clothes since he's a shapeshifter so he can look however he wants, including changing his body's sex..."
"Oh! I um... I haven't seen that yet I didn't know. I never dated anyone that could be a girl before." She looked at Dewi. "....please don't be mad if I fuck up?"
"I don't think I could be, even if I wanted to..."
She let go and carefully sat up. "I do need to study... we can figure out date time tomorrow maybe. Night." She stood up and headed to her room. She was nervous but... she was really glad she had that extra confidence boost from Luce. She'd need it. They weren't going to be like the other two....they wouldn't. They were good... and mature. She'd be fine.
