She went out to the living room and looked to see if Blake was waiting or not. She put her hands in the jacket, smiling. Part of her wanted to keep this thing. But maybe Dewi liked wearing it.
Blake was reading a book on the couch, but he looked up when Greer came out. One glance and he's smiling. "Looks like someone raided Dewi's closet. You look really pretty, G. And that outfit really suits you."
"I... didn't have much for a nice date. Just this one dress." She smiled a bit shyly. "So... you ready?"
"Yeah, though now I sort of wonder if I'm a bit under dressed.... You look so much nicer comparatively."
"You look pretty amazing to me I just um... I dunno... thought I should look nicer... date and all..." She ran her fingers through her hair. "Um... wanna go?"
"Good idea. We don't want to be late..." He marks his place in the book and sets it aside before getting up. "It's not far, so I figured we can walk..." He offers his hand for her to hold as he walks to the door... He's wearing thin black gloves...
She gently took his hand, smiling. "Thanks...." She walked with him, just looking incredibly happy... if... nervous when people looked at her.
Eventually they got to the theater and in front was.... Herbie the Car. "Oh my god! I didn't realize they were showing this for retro night! I loved this movie." She hugged him tight.
"It's actually a double feature; the first movie and the newest one. We can take pictures with the Herbie replica after the show for free with tickets."
She squealed. "Thank you!!"
"Anything for my adorable girlfriend. I figured you'd like this kind of thing."
Greer enjoyed the movies with Blake, sometimes silently mouthing the lines. She cheered and cried at parts. Then it was time for the pictures. She was so excited she posed several times and in one hugged Blake tight. THeir heads touched which made for an adorable picture but... after it was done and they started to walk back her eyes went wide. "Oh no... I switched... BEE I need to see if she's ok!" She started to run and... for Blake this was probably strange to see from the outside.
Suddenly someone else was in the clothes. But it was the same person. She slowed her momentum and looked. "Oh! First single date which means..." An older Greer... at least by 5 years or so turned and grinned at Blake. "Hey there love." She walked over with confidence his Greer didn't have and wrapped her arms around him. "And how are YOU doing tonight, hmmm?" She gave him a warm kiss on the lips before allowing him to answer.
"Quite lovely, G. That outfit still looks stunning on you, by the way... I was planning a bit of a coffee date after the movie if you're interested..."
Greer smiled, putting her hand around his waist. "Sounds good.... and don't worry Bee is fine. She has to be dismissed and now I can't dismiss her. She's just sleeping now since the wrong me is here." She pulled him close, grinning. "So... coffee hm? We could also find a nice quiet spot someplace... maybe a pocket room and.." She whispered in his ear a bit.
"Sure we've got the time? It wouldn't be good if you switch back in that situation..." Blake seems quite cool and collected, but Greer knew her boyfriends quite well by that point. He was pretending to not be flustered and the smallest cracks were starting to appear.
"Mmm... you act like I haven't had practice with this." She pulled him close, pressing against him and putting their foreheads together. "We even have time to maybe get Dewi... if you think you can already handle that." She grinned a bit more, giving another quick kiss.
"... It... would only be fair..." He doesn't make any move to do anything despite his words.
"Do I need to stop before I break you babe?" She let go and moved to just holding his hand.
"It's fine... I just... Tea... We should call Dew and have him meet us with some of my tea... I have my talismans so it's just a question of which one to use..."
She nodded. "Sorry babe... I got excited." She got out her cell. As soon as he answered, "Hey Princy. I switched with me and I came on very strong, so we need some tea. Can you meet us real fast? Maybe the library?"
"Okay...? I'll be there as soon as I can." Dewi was obviously a bit confused about what was going on, but figured questions could wait until later. As soon as she hangs up, Blake pulls Greer closer. "I like your kisses, but you know there's going to be consequences to messing with me like that... Maybe I should let Dewi spoil you for a while..."
She looked at him, the smile looking a bit sad. "Yeah but... I woulda. So it was only like... 15% messing. You got someone super fucked up babe. So... I'm trying to spoil you a bit." She started walking to where the coffee shop it. "And it's been hard seeing younger you and not knowing when you come forward if we are dating yet you know."
"I was thinking about dying my hair next week if that helps, just a stripe of purple in my bangs... Guess I don't go through with it if you can't tell predating and postdating me..." Blake suddenly stops. "I thought we were going to the library to meet Dew."
"We are. But I know there is a door that is unlocked in the alleyway next to the coffee shop. We'll use that."
"Oh, why didn't I think of that? Must have something to do with someone trying to use my own tricks against me... Or the fact that my girlfriend is secretly smarter than me. We were finally able to convince you of that, right?"
"That I'm smarter than you? Nope. Equal is best you are getting." She squeezed his hand. "But that.... is the least of your worries I think."
"I know. But even small victories in proving them wrong about you feel so important... Like if we can convince you they were wrong about these small things, it'll help you understand how wrong they are about the bigger things, until their ugly grasp on your mind has loosened enough for us to be able to start tending to your wounds..."
Greer looked like she was debating telling him something. She got him to the alleyway and let him set things up. "By the way I'm gonna cheat here... I'm safe with your tea. Start me with half a dose if you aren't sure."
Blake turns to her and suddenly pulls her into a kiss. "I know, Love. Your veins are made of coffee so it makes sense it would be safe for you... Now, I think we've left our poor Dew waiting alone for long enough, don't you think? We wouldn't want him to feel left out..."
Greer smiled. "Yeah..." She opened the door and sauntered over to Dewi. "Princy! Have you completed the quest? Your princess has a reward for you."
Dewi's poker face doesn't have as much practice in this situation. His hair turns bright pink. "Princess?"
She gives him a kiss as she hands Blake the tea. "Future Princess. You can call me Nayru cause Zelda is one of the only video games I liked growing up." She smiled a bit more.
"I didn't think it was possible, but you got even hotter..."
"It's the confidence." She smiled and ran her fingers through his hair. "I'm just enjoying getting to see you all cute like this."
"It's a good look on you..."
She gave him another kiss. "Something to look forward to at least. Cause you both got a hot mess." She let go and looked at them. "So... are we going to enjoy some private time, get some coffee, talk drama, or some combo there of?"
Blake grins. "Probably private time... I mean, that was why we had Dewdrop bring my tea. So I didn't switch too. After all, I don't think our Dewdrop could handle both of us being future versions..."
"Oh he'd be fine." She smiled before pulling Dewi to the couch and sitting on his lap, grinning. "Besides, he blows up our brains enough."
Blake gives a fake pout as he climbs onto the couch with them. "Well, I also don't wanna have to wait. Why should future me have all the fun?"
"Technically future you paid his dues is why. But I digress." Greer cuddled up to them both best she could. "Soak it in while you can then guys... When I come back it's like an oasis in the desert for you two."
"You know we're okay with going at your pace, G. You might be a mess, but you're our hot mess and it's not going to stop us from loving you..."
"I know that NOW. But sweetie, I was decent at hiding how big a mess from you. The problem is I'm not ok going at my pace." She closed her eyes, enjoying this, playing with Dewi's hair.
"You mean like why you keep your hair short and the fact that your discomfort with wearing skimpy clothes has nothing to do with the risk of skin contact... We can't force you to not push yourself, but we'll keep doing what we can to let you know that your pace is fine. It might seem pointless telling you this when you already know, but it needs to be said. Even in the face of all the scars you think you're hiding from us, we're not going to stop loving you and wanting what's best for you."
Greer kissed Blake. "Dewiiii Blake is being a wise sage. I vote we both get him."
"Hmmm... Whatever my princess desires." Dewi is wearing a silly grin.
It wasn't long before Blake was the one being covered in affection instead.
As it got close to time, Greer finally pulled herself away and sat up. "Alright boys... some business before I go. two things. 1. Dewi, I'm giving you full permission to tell Blake what you were told earlier tonight. if I start to give you shit about that, just tell me that older me gave permission." She crossed her legs and leaned back a bit. "Two, Dewi... wha i told you was the smallest of the big 3. You will both promise me you will never do anything concerning paybacks on any of those 3 things without telling present me everything first and getting my permission."
"Just one question. Does generally being a dick to those involved count as 'payback'?"
"If you mean stuff Ma would call bad manners? No. Messing with their heads? That would count." She looked at them. "I mean it... don't plan stuff behind my back ok?"
"As long as I don't have to be nice to the scumbags, I don't have any problem with getting your permission for anything that goes beyond that." Dewi nods his head in agreement with Blake's words. "We promise to not go behind your back."
"Good." She gives them both a kiss. "...I'm not gonna be easy. I love you both but I'd never blame you if you decide to change course with me." And like that, Greer was back, if looking like she had the tiniest bit too much tea. No real danger, she just looked a little happy. "My boyfriends! Blake... Dewi... You both somehow get HOTTER. How?"
"I suspect it's all that time we get to spend with you. We're likely something that gets better with age, but that goes doubly so when we get to date such an attractive woman."
She had a goofy grin. "I wanna have all the dates with you two. All of them. And I want coffee... older you said coffee would be good."
"Then how about you and Dewi go hang at home for a bit. I'll grab us some coffees and meet you there... I doubt you'll want to be in public when the caffeine kicks in..."
Greer nodded and watched Blake start walking off. "He has a great butt... doesn't he Dewi?"
"Yes he does... Eyes are more of my thing, but it's an ass that I can definitely appreciate..."
She giggled. "I like your focus and how competent you are. That's really sexy." She got up and started walking with him. "You should tell me alllll the fashion things... so I can see more of that hotness."
"I'll keep that in mind, Princess. Any other insider information you wish to impart on your lucky boyfriend? Just know that you're more loose lipped right now so you'll likely be embarrassed about all this later."
She smiled at him. "Mmmm..... the fairy likes me."
"Well, your town's fairy has good taste... Of course they like you with your heart of gold and gorgeous honey locks to match. You're the definition of beauty."
"Nope... I'm ugly for a girl. I look like a guy... all the kids from school proved that....but I like you think that." As they got to the apartment she started for the bathroom. "gotta pee..."
"Okay. I'll wait for you on the couch..."
